Hello ! I'm Leela, 25, french. I'm seeking workaway experiences to meet people and to learn new things !
I've been a saleswoman in organic shops, a farm worker, a volunteer in a democratic school, a volunteer in a Swedish community ( Angsbacka) and an au pair in England.
I enjoy painting abstract / ornamental art ( I made some posters, stickers, big mural, a logo ).
I like cooking ( I eat vegan ), hiking to get close to nature, taking care of animals (especially dogs), discovering new music, new languages...

Living nearby, I came to help at Sabine's place punctually, and I can only recommend! Sabine and her family are wonderfully kind people :) Already on my short stay there I started to learn a new skill, the place is peaceful and I ate delicious things :))

Leela est venue nous aider 2 jours, j’ai beaucoup aimé notre rencontre. Le contact a été très simple et j’ai l’impression que nous avons été tous à l’aise rapidement. Leela arrived after Andrea, Fanny, and Alexander, and the handover between them went perfectly smoothly. She quickly settled in, took over all the house and pet care responsibilities, and everything continued without any issues.

Thank you Erika and Zoli for this exchange! I very much enjoyed cat sit Cuki and Pocak, super cuddly and friendly, for 10 days 😊 I could see Budapest under the snow and then in the sun ! I stayed in their nice studio in the suburbs and I could even meet them at the end when they came back!

I spent two weeks with leela.She is a verry kind soul,verry calm and present in all her actions.I told her she could verry well have studied mindfullness as she has a way of beeing totally in the now which had a good influence on the dogs and horses.She would get up early every morning taking immediate care of my dogs and allways willing to help… read more

I spend there 2 weeks in march helping in the garden, with the 4 dogs (an adorable old one sleeping all the time in the living room, a very strong hard to handle one and two little energetic cuddly ones ;) ) and the house, in the morning and a little bit in the evening. Leela was one of the best workawayers we ever had. She Is young, strong, responsible, Always willing to help and learn. She came during the olive harvest which Is the toughest time here, and She was Always in a good Mood even if we worked almost every day.

Vittoria and Luca are amazing people, truly generous and kind ! I was there for two weeks during the olive harvest with other workawayers and we all had a great time helping, visiting the beautiful village (and meeting local friends), eating fresh vegetables and olive oil of course, or just being in the calm of the garden. I recommend !

My experience there was overall bad. No communication: Simona does not speak one word of English. When other Italian and English speakers were around I could understand thanks to them. It was a struggle to first just arrive at her place and reach her. Lack of organisation.
