Description
Hi there! I’m Kanta, born and raised in the vibrant city of Osaka, Japan.
I am currently a 4th-year university student taking a gap year to broaden my horizons and deeply immerse myself in new cultures.
Having lived in Canada for a year and backpacked solo through Southeast Asia, I am highly independent, adaptable, and eager to contribute to your project or home!
What I can bring to your place (Skills)
• Physical Labor & Gardening: I hit the gym daily, so I’m confident in my strength.
• Cooking & Housekeeping: From my experience living alone in Canada, I’m comfortable with daily chores and cooking. I’d love to share some authentic Japanese flavors (like Okonomiyaki or Curry) with you!
• Reliability & Time Management: Working as a local tour guide and an online Japanese teacher has made me very punctual and organized. You can count on me to be responsible and professional with any tasks assigned.
・Childcare & Education: I have experience working at an after-school childcare center, where I looked after children of various ages. This role helped me develop patience, creativity, and a strong sense of responsibility. I’m happy to help with childcare, play games, or even assist with homework!
Why I want to Workaway
I’ve visited several countries in Europe and absolutely fell in love with the atmosphere. This time, I don’t just want to "see" the sights as a tourist; I want to live the culture. I am genuinely interested in learning local languages, traditions, and the way of life from the inside.
Interests & Personality
• Outdoor Lover: I love hiking, going to concerts, and staying active.
• Open-minded: I’m a people person. I love meeting new people, embracing cultural differences, and having deep conversations about life.
• Lifelong Learner: I’m always excited to try new things and gain new skills.
I am looking forward to being a helpful part of your daily life and creating great memories together! -
