We are a gay couple living in the countryside, close to Alicante city, a touristic spotlight in the southeast of Spain. We are easygoing people that love sports music and culture in general. I work as an artist and my partner Jose as a civil servant. We like exchanging experiences and languages

David and Jose are excellent hosts. They have already worked out what most Workawayers need and everything is set up really well. I had a whole section of the house to myself, so I had plenty of privacy. The property is beautiful and the work wasn't too strenuous. Muy bueno ! Recomiendo 100% ! Con ellos, pasé dos semanas muy agradable. Cerca de Alicante y Elche, es muy facil de visitar estos lugares !
He trabajado fuera (3/4 horas por dia mas o menos) ! He ayudado para la cocina a veces ! Podria mejorar mi espanol y mi inglés con ellos.

My stay at David's place was my first workaway experience and it was great. I always worked from 7-11 in order to avoid the heat and jumped in the pool afterwards as a reward. We both got on very well with Philipp. He is a pleasure to have around. He is polite, well mannered and good company. Within no time he felt like a friend we'd known for years. He learns what to do in the garden in one second. Good level of spanish lenguage. I strongly recommend him to any host.

He is very responsible, reliable, hard worker, multiskilled and prepared to do anything (and eat anything). I didn´t need to say him what to do, cause he is very intuitive. Not only cleaned the the garden but also he cleaned the house perfectly and cooked very well.

I was really happy to be accpeted in the busy xmas season!
This was the first workaway for me but he welcomed me with warm hospitality.
Also I really enjoyed the locals events where he took me.

David and José were incredibly gracious hosts and made me feel very welcome and at home on their gorgeous property, which was a joy to help maintain! They also taught me some Spanish and helped my partner with hers when she visited for the weekend. I was very comfortable and had my own flat for the duration of an amazing workaway experience!
