Description

Hey, I am Kalani!
I am an outdoorsy, creative person from Switzerland who is currently enjoying her gap year! I love hiking, working with others and generally spending time in nature! In my free time I love to photograph or film, paint and read. I enjoy bicycling, swimming, horse back riding and otherwise I go the gym.
After this year, I plan on studying Biodiversity, as I want to help protect and save the environment and animals.
I am always open to new experiences, adventures and other people. Also, I am great with children, from countless hours babysitting and have spent a week on a farm caring, cooking and cleaning for three little kids. Therefore, I am an asset in the household! :) I grew up in the countryside and have taken care of calves, horses and chickens, as well as having cleaned out stables and barns.
In short, I can make myself useful no matter where!
My dream countries to visit are New Zealand, Canada and all the Scandinavian ones!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I grew up in the countryside where I gained a lot of experiences on farming and caring for animals. I have cleaned out stables, repaired fences, repainting, gardening and fed animals. Additionally, I was a part of the scouts, which taught me many things about survival and efficiency in the woods and overall nature. I know how to be practical and fast without wasting time and I know how to run a household, my favourite part is cooking for family and friends, which is very often.
I have tutored, babysat and am working as a ski instructor in the season of 2025/26 for kids to adults. This means I am very good with people of all ages and this has taught me patience and understanding.
