Hello, Bonjour!
I’m Isabel, or Izzy. I’m a university student from Melbourne, Australia, with a passion for travelling, meeting new people and spending time in nature. My friends would describe me as easy-going, creative and kind.
I’m a dedicated and motivated person, and can help out in all sorts of projects. I am quick learner, and already have experience and skills in customer service, childcare, and food preparation. I am more than happy to help others with practicing English, and I would love to improve my French!
Last year I enjoyed travelling around Europe during my stay as an au pair in Germany for 5 months. Through au pair I also developed my childcare skills, while managing various housekeeping tasks. In Melbourne, I’ve been working in a bakery where I’ve enjoyed preparing various delicious foods together with my co-workers, and serving customers. Volunteering at my local foodbank has also deepened my passion for community development -something which I am pursuing through my International Studies degree as well.
Wherever I volunteer I am sure to bring a friendly attitude and a dedicated spirit. All the best from Down Under!
