The experience I had with Cristina, Stefano and Oro went above and beyond my expectations. How do you even review angels? I should note that this was my first time doing an exchange through Workaway - so it may be difficult to stay with other hosts in the future because the bar is set so high after being here.

… read more extremely rewarding and fulfilling. I walked away with more than just a dynamic experience, I learned a lot about Italian lifestyle at its finest. This family is extremely intelligent, compassionate, observant, kind, curious, respectful and all around beautiful. If you are looking to see the stunning countryside, eat the most delicious and fresh food, learn about olives and the precious oil, and meet incredible people, this is a great option. I was so sad to leave!
I hope to come back one day, as there are some very exciting projects in the future for Cristina and Stefano. I truly feel like I made long lasting friendships here. Thank you so much for everything te mando fuerte abrazos!!!Laissé par l'hôte pour le workawayer (Kata)

The best part of Workaway is meeting people like Kata, but the hardest part is having to write a review: with friends like her, it’s impossible to capture everything in a few words. We were truly lucky to have Camila with us during the October 2024 olive harvest. From day one, she was collaborative, always helpful, and brought a sense of calm and harmony to our team. Her dedication was incredible: she worked tirelessly, often staying beyond scheduled hours, showing a rare level of commitment. We shared many beautiful moments,

We are also grateful to both her and Kata for being able to share a small space with mutual respect, bonding as if they’d known each other forever, and never causing any issues. The hardest part of Workaway is writing reviews, because with people like Camila, you become real friends, and words can hardly capture it all. We thank her from the bottom of our hearts, and we truly hope to see her again for another adventure together. Thank you, Camila!

My first volunteering was with Stefano and Cristina. It was a beautiful experience, they received me very well, I arrived at an apartment attached to their house, furnished and with everything I needed to be comfortable. We worked in olive harvesting, it was very nice to participate. Every day we had lunch or dinner together. They cook excellent!
… read more All healthy and with vegetables from his own garden. We were able to share experiences, meet his friends and of course have the honor to meet the king of the house: Oro! Their beloved dog 🐶 with the schedules are flexible, on my days off I was able to visit Rome. They are a very fun and loving couple, 100% recommended to volunteer with them!

We spent a beautiful 5 weeks at Cristina & Stefano’s getting to know the land, plants and animals. They were gracious hosts and went above and beyond with everything from start to finish. They are both warm and creative people, great cooks and it’s no surprise they’ve made such a special place. We felt comfortable and welcomed from the beginning
… read more when Stefano picked us from Roma Termini to the end when Christina made us her amazing Fiori di zucca fritti. Photos can’t capture the full beauty of this place. We hope to visit again one day, maybe for the olive harvest next October! Thank you for a wonderful experience. We were absolutely thrilled to have Rheanna and Logan stay at our farm from early August to mid-September! We had an amazing week together! We got to know each other better and showed them all the cool things we do to keep our plants, our garden and cats happy during the hot Roman summer. The guys were absolutely lovely and keen to learn! We
… read more planted some seedlings together in the garden and then my wife Cristina and I set off on our wedding adventure to a beautiful Greek island with our dog Oro! We were away for three weeks but stayed in touch all the time via WhatsApp with Logan and Rheanna. We came back to a house, plants and cats that were still in perfect condition despite the scorching heat! The guys absolutely loved the peace and quiet of our country home! We had the best time! We spent a few more days together, cooking and eating delicacies mostly from the garden. It was an incredible experience and we are forever grateful to Rheanna and Logan for letting us go on vacation with our dog Oro without worrying about our beloved plants and home! We had the best time with the guys! They shared so many amazing stories and we laughed our way through some incredible movie references. We really hope to meet again either here on our farm or maybe in the States someday when the guys have found a destination to their pilgrimage. We can't recommend Rheanna and Logan enough, they're such great people and wonderful work-awayers!
