Welcome!
We came many years back to this beautiful land, in the southern lap of the Gredos mountains. We wanted to experience what it is to return to the earth and being in contact with Mother Nature. We started with and agroecological project of dried figs and veg garden of permaculture.
The Nature's rhythms with it's elements, the seasons, helped us to reconnect with our inner essence and heal. In this way we dreamt to build up a center for workshops and meditations for more and more people could experience it also.
So we built it with bio construction a house made of straw and clay, and we started having retreats.
The ones living here share meditation practice daily together.
We are looking for help with the permaculture for the fig farm and the bio construction.
La Vera is near to Madrid , and there are many alternative people newcommers with interesting projects. Also this area has a very alive folk culture and it has many rivers all along the south side of the mountain, full of magic river pools.
The farm it’s free from drugs and alcohol,

Vinimos hace unos años a esta hermosa tierra, en la falda sur de la sierra de Gredos, entre las montañas, queríamos experimentar como es el volver a la tierra , y estar en contacto con la Naturaleza. Comenzamos con la producción agroecológica de higos secos y huerto de permacultura.
Los ritmos de la Naturaleza con sus elementos, las estaciones, nos ayudaron a reconectar con nuestra esencia y sanar. Así soñamos levantar un centro de talleres y meditación para que más personas pudieran tener la oportunidad de experimentarlo también.
Así levantamos con bioconstruccion la casa de balas de paja y empezamos a funcionar.
Los que vivimos aquí practicamos meditaciones diariamente juntos.
Buscamos ayuda para mantenimiento, bioconstruccion y permacultura.
La Vera es una zona cercana a Madrid donde hay mucha gente alternativa con proyectos novedosos, y a la vez hay una cultura folclórica muy viva. También es una zona de montaña llena de gargantas con preciosas piscinas naturales.
La finca es una zona libre de drogas y alcohol.
Por favor abstenerse de contactar sino cumples el minimo de estancia de dos semanas.

It is a beautiful and wild place, surrounded by mountains and rivers. The nature in the surroundings invites you to rest and enjoy one hundred percent of the connection with the environment, the people and the products of the area.
You can also learn about the nature and history of the valley, green building, gardening in a natural way, music, and much more!

Es un lugar bello de naturaleza salvaje, rodeado de montañas y ríos. La naturaleza en los alrededores invita a descansar y disfrutar al cien por cien de la conexión con el medio ambiente, las personas y los productos de la zona.
También puedes aprender sobre la naturaleza y la historia del valle, bioconstruccion, cuidados de huertos de manera natural, música, y muchas cosas más!

Necesitamos ayuda con bio construcción, mantenimiento de la finca y del proyecto de permacultura y cuidados de las gallinas. Todos estos solo aplicables a la parte del proyecto de vivienda propia nuestra y nuestro propio huerto.
Recoger higos y secarlos en septiembre.
Otras tareas pueden ser necesarias en un proyecto ecológico.

We are looking for skilled volunteers, if coming in a couple, at least one must be skilled. Also we are looking for long time sharing, 3 months .
The requested daily hours are less due to the only one meal provided by us. The other meals you can organize in the volunteers kitchen.
We offer only three hour exchange daily from mon-fri, because of several reasons: firstly economically, second the tasks we provide require from us to guide,so we can not be avaialable so much time daily, and third bs we like to allow time with intimacy in solitude for you and us :)))
The place is located 50 minutes walk from the town Villanueva de la Vera, there are buses to Madrid and other destinations.
Do not hesitate to write if meditation and nature are an important part of your life!
Estamos buscando voluntarios con habilidades en mantenimiento, huerto o bioconstrucción. Si venís en pareja, al menos uno de los dos con habilidades por favor. Tambien buscamos una estancia larga de 3 meses.
Las horas requeridas son menos al dia porque solo proveemos una comida al dia, y de una cocina para los voluntarios.
Puntualizamos que nuestro intercambio es solo de tres horas diarias de lunes a viernes, debido a varias razones: una es la economica, otra que vuestras tareas requieren de nosotros para enseñaros y guiaros, y tercera que nos gusta tener mas intimidad en la convivencia, permitiendo que haya tiempos de soledad para nosotros y vosotros :))
El lugar está situado a 30 minutos a pie del pueblo Villanueva de la Vera, allí hay buses a Madrid y otros destinos.
