Hello, my name is Imme and i am 18 years old. I am living in the netherlands where i was born and raised. I just finished high school and right now i am looking for opportunities to explore the world and and learn about others and myself.

I love traveling and being active. I am curious about other cultures and skills and love to meet new people. I am really patient, responsible and i'm willing to work hard. Through workaway i want to improve my independence and social skills.

So the reason i sign up for workaway is to learn from others, meet new people, discovering the world and develoing myself and my personality. With workaway, i also hope to learn more lanquages and gain more knowledge.

Some things i like doing are (competitive)swimming, reading, flying(gliding) and being creative, but i hope to gain some new skills and maybe even hobbies through workaway.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have a little bit of knowledge of a lot of things. i know a little about gardening, painting, babysitting, teaching, building, cooking and cleaning. I do these things at home, school or at work, but not a lot. So i am not especially good at these things, but i am really eager to learn and improve myself.

currently i am working at a swimming pool, where a work as a lifeguard and cleaner, so i know very well what responsibillity means. the cleaning has given me the ability to set priorities and work efficiently.

At my previous school, besides studying, i have been a tutor and homeworksupervisor.
I am also really eager to learn languages. I am fluent in Dutch and english, i have learnt french in school and i am teaching myself chinese.

Also, my hobbies are swimming and gliding (flying), they teach me about socializing, staying healthy and improving.

I am someone that really wants to develop my skills, broaden my vision and maximizing my potential. I'll welcome every challenge with open arms.

I really like playing games, like boardgames (everything), sportsgames (outside) and familygames. I am really trying not to be on my phone to much besides contact with friends and family. I hope to improve that during my stay at your place. Also please remind me during my stay about challenging myself, because that's what i am there for.
