Hi, I'm Helene. I'm part danish and part dutch and speak both languages fluently as I used to live in the Netherlands when I was little. I also speak fluent English and a basic Spanish, but I'm always looking to improve my language skills and be part of a cultural exchange. I’m currently living in Copenhagen, on my third year of studying furniture and spatial design at the designschool in Copenhagen. Before that I was studying to become a cabinetmaker. I have quite a lot of experience working with wood, but have recently become very interested in textile design as well. In general I really love arts and crafts and I'm always up for learning new crafts or techniques. I have some experience with smaller house constructions within sustainable building. But my knowledge here is limited - would really love to learn more though. I also enjoy exploring nature - by foot, kayak, bike or climbing. I love being in nature in any way possible and also enjoy gardening and caring for plants and animals.

I'm always up for a bonfire sing-a-long or a game of cards, but I also enjoy spending time and exploring on my own.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

My work experience spands quite wide. I have experience with teaching and working with kids, as I have worked as a substitute teacher in the danish ground school (6-16 years). I have also worked as a full time teacher in the danish grounds school mainly with kids in the age of 6-9 and mostly in subjects such as arts, woodwork and crafts. I have also worked at a danish Højskole where I was teaching young adult in woodwork and sustainable building.
I've also worked as a bartender, waiter and dishwasher at big events.
Moreover I'm generally responsible, ambitious and used to using my body for different physical activities
