Hi everyone!

My name is Emma, I´m 21 years old and live in Germany.

I´m currently studying occupational therapy nerby Cologne.

I´m interested in exploring many countries on different continents but at the moment I´m mostly focused on Europe especially on the Scandinavian countries.

I started doing Workaway experiences two years ago in Germany and France. This summer, I had two wonderful Workaway stays in the Netherlands and Belgium, which I would love to repeat. This time, my main focus is on house- and pet sitting, as well as babysitting and helping with household tasks. I enjoy creating a warm, reliable environment and supporting hosts in their daily routines.

I´m a reliable, empathetic, positive and open-minded person who loves to spend time in nature (especially with my dog) and really likes to take care of animals. In my free time I really like to hike and ride my bike, to dance, to read, to play badminton and to do yoga. I also used to play the flute and the piano for several years. But nowadays a lot of my free time is covered by meeting up with my family and friends as I´m a very social person.

I have quite a bit experience with farming and pet sitting as I have a dog and spent most of my childhood with my grandparents who own a farm (but I´m not a professional). That´s also a reason why I´m very connected to nature. I also like to teach and take care of children which I also did in the last few years. And I volunteered for several social projects for example in an animal shelter and in an organization which gives food to people with less money.

I´m really looking forward to meet new people and to listen to their stories, to get to know different cultures and lifestyles and to see new places. I´m willing to learn new things (especially new languages) and would like to improve my skills (especially in eco-farming and animal care).
I´m mostly interested in teaching, pet and house sitting, helping in hostels and the household, babysitting, working at a farm and with animals or working at eco-community projects. But my main focus is on supporting people and having a good time with them :))

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have experience in teaching which I´ve also done alongside for the last couple of years.
In the last two years I volunteered at the animal shelter and helped in an organization which gives food to people which less money.
I have some experiences in farming and gardening as well because I spent a lot of time in my childhood with my grandparents who own a farm.
And last but not least I really love pet sitting which I also do almost daily by taking care of my dog.
