Description
I work as a freelance writer and language teacher, and spend most of my free time reading, riding, being outdoors... or mucking out in the stable!
I'm a very curious and eclectic person, I've travelled a lot for my studies and lived abroad for years.
Born and raised in Italy, I also speak English, Polish and Russian and love being in multicultural environments.
Working as a content writer and professional creative, I can entertain myself perfectly, all I need is a book or my laptop! Usually in late July/August my workload isn't very heavy and doesn't require me to be present in Milan - where I live - so I like to spend these weeks changing from a very urban and hectic lifestyle to a more rural one.
Last summer I had my first Workaway experience in Ireland, working with horses, and I'm currently looking for my next one in the summer of 2025!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
- I'm quite an experienced rider, I used to compete in show jumping as a teenager, now I concentrate on dressage and flat work. I'm comfortable around horses, donkeys and ponies. I know how to handle them safely, feed them, groom them, tack them up and do some ground work. I currently train once/twice a week with my riding instructor. I ride her two horses, a 12 year old thoroughbred warmblood ex-racehorse and a 10 year old Spanish Menorquin.
- I'm generally good at farm work.
- I have great communication skills, having studied Foreign Languages and Literature.
- I've always been around animals (I used to have dogs, cats and rabbits), so I'm quite comfortable taking care of them. Thanks to that and my experience with horses, I'm not afraid of getting covered in mud or getting my hands dirty!
- Last but not least, I also teach Italian as a foreign language, so I can definitely make a good language exchange if you are interested.
