Description
Hello my name is Dougal and I’m a 26 year old from New Zealand. I am really looking forward to joining the workaway community to learn new skills and try out different lifestyles before returning to New Zealand and settling into a career. I am an outdoorsy type with a real passion for ecology and palaeontology. I’m a bit of an adrenaline junkie partaking in hobbies such a skiing, mountain biking and motocross. Back in New Zealand I am a certified rural property valuer specialising in forestry where I advise clients on the value of their property and trees as well as potential land use and management changes that can optimise their farm financially and environmentally. I am a real animal nerd and working towards conservation of ecosystems and species is a massive motivation of mine and something I would like to do more of.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I grew up on a farm in New Zealand so have good general farming and maintenance skills such a fencing, animal husbandry, machine use and maintenance. Being a New Zealander we pride our selves on being adaptable, fast learners and can do a lot with limited resources.
