Hello everyone
So, what can I say about me. … I already spent two thirds of my life but I am still curious what life has in store for me. And since my early retirement even more. I live in a nice village in the countryside in Switzerland, so nature is in walking distance to my apartment which is great for my nordic walking and hiking tours. I also love being at home, listening music, reading books, taking care of family and friends and lightening the candles when days are getting shorter. As I feel very privileged in my life, volunteer work is also important to me - this includes care of elderly people but also help on Swiss mountain farms (above all physical work).

At the same time I love travelling and knowing other people and cultures. I am addicted to Brazil since my age of 24. In 1993 I lived there for three years managing a little hotel, got married to a Brazilian and loved immersing myself into the Brazilian culture. Although back to my roots in Switzerland I still want to discover new things and so the travel fever always catches me. Maybe this wanderlust is in my genes too. With an Italian mother and a Swiss father any boundaries are fluid.

Last but not least dancing is another passion, especially ballroom and argentine tango. Latter gets me to a lot of places/cities all over Europe. The tango community is really amazing, what counts is respect and attentivenes towards often unknown people.

My favored motto is (sorry only in French) : Je n’attends que l’inattendue, Un éclat de rire, un poème. Je prends le bonheur quand il vient, Comme un papillon dans ma main. Jamais mes doigts ne se referment (Michèle Bernard). Big hug, Marisa

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I would say I am an allrounder. In my working life I managed projects in the field of the nonprofit sector. Therefore important skils were management and organising abilities, responsibility, being able to work in changing teams but also flexibility and patience. During my stay in Brazil managing a little hotel I learned a lot about tourism and guest care. Since my retirement I gained new experiences. I worked on mountain farms making hay, helping in the household, in the garden, in the cow shed and taking care of elderly persons. I am also fine with the reception of holiday guests, as a waitress and even as a kitchen assistent. I would love animal care.
