Description

I am new to be a workawayer, though, I have been hosting people around the world since the year of 2015. During the past 10 years, I made very good friends and learnt so much with my guests. The travel-around-the-world-at-home experiences have become part of my life. And as to my travel,people are also more of my destinations than places. I can plan out places to visit and learn about that before I am there, but people to meet are always adventures that I won't be able to know ahead. That is why I want to try this workaway experience, meeting people and learn new cultures, skills and ways of life.

I, in Taiwan, am a public school teacher to teenagers with severe multi-disabilities for 30 years. I am a creative, responsible and hard-working guy significantly contributing to the school. I am also open-minded and happy to try new things and meet new people.
At the time when I was much younger, there was not such things as internet or The Workaways which enrich young people’s life so much. Since I am still healthy and strong with abundant life experiences, I would love to experience the world as much as I can.

I am an active runners and skilled in many sports, that means I have a good body. And with my good characters and attitudes, I am sure I can also contribute to many projects and have very good time with everyone here.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Since I have been a special education teacher, honestly, I have few skills on farms or restaurants or hostels that workaway opportunities usually demand, though I am a quick learner. Nevertheless, I am good at interacting with people and making people around me smile, and I am the one who do the house chores most at home so I can clean the house well. I can also do sports massage if anyone in the project need some relaxation.
I have a master degree in physical education and am still an active runner, I can share knowledge of sports and coach running.

I hold 4 Taiwan national age group records on 800m, 1500m and 4x400m relay, and won 2 gold medals and other more in the Asian Master Athletics Meetings, which I am very proud of.
I have married for 27 years with 3 adult children, which I am even more proud of.
