Hi there,

I'm Carissa, I am 37, born in NZ but living in Australia. I am a horticulturalist, permaculturalist with a PDC, Yoga Teacher, and have just finished a Counselling Diploma.

My partner is Matthew Long, 48, from Australia. He is a Woodworker, horticulturalist and gardener, graphic designer, furniture maker and restorer.

My interests are gardening, yoga and hospitality; and have worked many years across these industries. Matts interests are wood work, gardening, design, furniture design and making, graphic design and music. We are travelling and looking to meet new people, explore new places and experiences that will hopefully inspire our own desire to build a home and farm of our own one day.

We are both very hard workers and are sociable with great people skills and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

We are new to Workaway, and hope you will give us the opportunity to show and integrate our comprehensive skills in to your projects. Thank you and we look forward to meeting you.

We are both hardworking, honest, punctual, respectful, and fast learners with common sense. We are great at using our initiative and can work efficiently independently or in a team environment.

Carissa's skills: Horticulture gardening skills eg seed and cutting propagation, pruning, garden maintenance, plant health, greenhouse maintenance, permaculture design, yoga teacher, asana, meditation, pranayam, mantra, video filming and editing, writing, hospitality, cooking, cleaning, organisation.

Matt's skills: Carpentry, general woodwork and building, furniture building, horticulture and gardening, plant irrigation, cooking and cleaning, design and photoshop, graphic design, good with animals. DIY anything.
