  Description

  We are looking for someone to give us a hand over the next few weeks with cutting and stacking firewood to heat our homes, as well as other tasks like clearing the fields of brambles and other little tasks as supporting the vegetable garden tasks.
  There would also be the possibility to help with woodcutting in the forest starting from mid-October.
  
  Hi, we are a community of people who live together, a kind of ecovillage, that was founded in 1982.
  We are currently about 20 people in 4 houses, spread over 100 hectares of land, we have various hobbies .. sheep, cheese making, pottery , natural dyeing, making wood in the forest, making bread in the wood oven and so on. .. we are many Germans and some Italians, several languages are spoken here, especially Italian, German, English and some even French!
  
  Ciao, siamo una comunità intenzionale, fondata in Umbria nel 1982 .
  Attualmente siamo circa 20 persone in 4 case,disposte su un terreno di 100 ettari,abbiamo diverse attività che portiamo avanti insieme, abbiamo 120 pecore che ci danno il latte per la produzione di formaggio, abbiamo un laboratorio di ceramica, e di tintura naturale. Nei mesi invernali ci dedichiamo al taglio del bosco dal quale ricaviamo la legna per le case, una volta a settimana uno dei membri si dedica a fare il pane nel forno a legna, mentre altri si dedicano alla gestione degli orti, quindi alla coltivazione e alla lavorazione dei prodotti che ne ricaviamo .. il gruppo iniziale si forma in Germania, spinti dalla voglia di cambiare paese arrivano in Italia nel '82, ad oggi il gruppo è formato da molti tedeschi e sempre più italiani.
  Le lingue maggiormente parlate sono tedesco e italiano, seguito da inglese. Alcuni membri parlano francese.

  The group comes from Germany, so a lot of the members are German, you will get to know German and something of our culture mixed with the italian culture. Then surely we will be able to transmit to you the love we feel for nature and living in and with it, doing and creating something with our own hands.
  
  Il gruppo viene dalla Germania e quindi molti membri sono tedeschi, potrete conoscere la lingua tedesca e qualcosa della nostra cultura mista italo/tedesca. Speriamo di riuscire a trasmettervi l'amore che proviamo per la natura e il vivere in e con essa, fare e creare qualcosa con le proprie mani collettivamente.

  Aide

  Given the average age of the group, many things are no longer feasible for many of us. Tasks that could be there are for example .. help with firewood (bring it in to the house where you live to have a nice temperature inside, bring to the woodshed and even directly into the woods) sometimes help with the sheep if that interest you, help in the gardens where we get our food from and much more ..!
  
  Vista l'età media del gruppo, tante cose non sono più fattibili per tanti di noi. Compiti che ci potrebbero essere sono per esempio.. aiuto legna (portare la legna nella casa dove vivi per accendere le stufe e riscaldarsi,portare in legnaia e anche direttamente nel bosco) aiuto con le pecore se sei interessat* al lavoro con gli animali, aiuto negli orti dai quali ricaviamo il cibo per tutti e tanto altro..!

  Hébergement

  The group consists of 4 (+1 that's the house where only young people lives right now) houses, you will find a place in one of these with their respective people, food and accommodation in exchange for 4 working hours a day, depending on the tasks you will have, sometimes we have more to do and some days will be really chill.
  
  Il gruppo è composto da 4 case (+1 nella quale attualmente risiedono solo i giovani) ,troverete posto in una di queste con le rispettive persone,vitto e alloggio in cambio di 4 ore lavorative al giorno,dipende dai compiti che avrete, in alcuni periodi/ giorni abbiamo più da fare, mentre altri possono essere molto tranquilli.

  We search someone who speaks Italian and/or German preferably, it's easier to get closer to the people, because not everyone speaks good English!:)
