Hi, my name is Nate and I'm excited to join this WorkAway community. I've lived in The California Central Valley for the most part of my life. I’m a passionate adventure-seeking individual. I'm an avid hiker and backpacker love nature. I live around 4 National Parks within 2 hours drive. I love to travel and enjoy exploring new places. I have traveled (mostly road trip across 45 states) the United States multiple times and visited most of the National Parks and National Monuments. I consider Yosemite National Park to be my backyard and love to climb Half Dome I have climbed it 56 times. I'm a diehard Buffalo Bills fan and travel to Buffalo once a year to attend a game. I value creativity, having an open mind and spirit. Traveling to new places where I can engage in different communities and cultures. Have been to Canada, Mexico, Costa Rica, France, United Kingdom, Spain and Portugal. I have walked 6 Caminos across France, Spain and Portugal. Walked the Camino de Costa Rica from the Caribbean to the Pacific. I'm looking for an opportunity where I can connect with the host, family and community. Contribute and learn new things about your culture, lifestyle and the working opportunities you're providing and needing help with it. I’m pretty handy and not afraid to help out and get involved with the locals and the community.

I'm reliable, hardworking and not afraid of physical or hands on work. I adapt quickly to new environments and situations, stay calm under pressure, and enjoy finding practical solutions when needed.

I’m pretty handy with repairs and fixing things around the house. I have general knowledge of construction, electricity, plumbing, painting and anything related to remodeling. "With the right tools and equipment you can do anything"

I grew up in a farm and know how to handle farm animals.

I known how to organize things around.

I worked at an Elementary School where I was the Home School Liaison for 13 years. I helped the school staff with the communication between the teachers, parents and the community.

I have 35 years of experience in a grocery business. Where I was in charge of more than 80 employees. I oversaw the daily operations of the store. I’m good with numbers and know how to handle the budget and expenses to run a business.

I recently moved to Costa Rica to start my process of applying for residency. I don't drink or smoke. I'm a licensed Realtor in California and have helped many clients with their Real Estate needs. Yosemite National Park is my backyard and I have climbed Half Dome 56 times and counting. I'm the biggest Buffalo Bills fan in the West Coast. Love to travel, explore, meet new friends and collect memories.
