Description
Hi everybody!
My name is Marijana and last year I moved into a new house just outside of Ljubljana where I live now with my daughters. We are an open minded, creative family, and spend most of our free time cooking healthy meals (mostly vegan) as well as hiking in the countryside.
We like hosting English (or German) speaking people and enjoy spending time sharing new recipes, engaging in interesting conversations or discussions, and learning all about their way of life. We have capacity for one volunteer or a couple to stay with us for a short time (one week).
The last years we learned a lot about personality development and growth to be more satisfied and fulfilled in life. We are also interested in natural medicine like dried herbs and vegan, nutritional food to stay physically and mentally healthy. If you are interested, we would love to exchange our knowledge and learn from each other. But even if you are new in this topic, we are open to share our knowledge and findings with you.

Slovenia is a beautiful country with plenty of wildlife and nature, so you will be able to spend lots of time in the countryside and go walking, enjoy hikes in the mountains, swimming in lakes or doing sports. You can also visit the capital city Ljubljana and other famous sights across the country. We mainly cook and eat vegetarian or vegan food, but there is also meat available if you wish.

We would be happy to speak english (or german) with us during your stay, because we always want to improve our English and German speaking skills to become more fluent. We prefer to learn language through conversation and having fun, rather than sitting in a classroom.
