Hello everyone! We are looking for a new place to stay in October. We’re looking around Dublin, so if you need help, don’t hesitate 🙂

We are Aurore and Thomas, a couple full of energy and a love for adventure! We’ve been together for 6 years and have just arrived from Bordeaux. Driven by the desire to explore the world, learn new things, and, above all, meet amazing people, we set ourselves a bold challenge: moving to Ireland starting at the end of June 2025.

Why Ireland? Because we needed a breath of fresh air, a change of scenery, and the chance to explore new horizons. We chose Ireland because it’s still close to France (our families will be reassured… and so will we! We love them too much to go too far 😉). But more importantly, we dream of discovering its magical landscapes, breathtaking cliffs, and beautiful green countryside (Bordeaux is great, but a bit too urban for us!).

And of course, there are the Irish! We’ve heard they are warm, welcoming, and always up for a good time. Honestly, we can’t wait to share a pint of Guinness with you!

When it comes to adventures, this is not our first! We participated in the 4L Trophy, an unforgettable humanitarian rally—probably the best experience of our lives so far. We hope this trip to Ireland will be even better, full of exciting experiences and incredible encounters.

Of course, we know it won’t always be easy—but that’s what makes an adventure so thrilling, right?

We have two big goals for this new chapter:
• To finally speak English fluently—it would be a dream come true!
• And most importantly, to live unique experiences, break out of our routine, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

We are simple, cheerful people who enjoy the little things in life and love sharing great moments with others. We’re easy-going, handy with a bit of everything, resourceful, and full of enthusiasm!

In short, we’re really excited to fully embrace this new adventure… and maybe even share it with you!

Oh yes, absolutely! Learning English is definitely one of the main reasons we chose Ireland. We dream of being able to communicate easily, whether for the joy of meeting new people or to boost our career prospects. We know that speaking English well will be very useful for our future. For now, to be honest, our English is still a bit hesitant, but we are super motivated! We learn quickly through experience, and we’re convinced that practicing every day is the best way to improve. We’re excited to chat naturally with everyone, share stories, laugh together… and maybe, who knows, even start thinking in English without realizing it!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We are a real complementary team!
Thomas is great with mechanics and DIY — he loves understanding how things work and finding solutions to all kinds of technical challenges. Lately, he’s developed a passion for drones — he has a few and loves flying them! He’s also learning how to take aerial videos and photos, and he’s slowly getting into video editing. He’s a very thoughtful person, always calm and mature, even in tricky situations.

When it comes to work experience, Thomas has worked in heavy vehicle mechanics, in the maintenance of stormwater basins (like trimming and mowing green spaces), and right now, he is a freight forwarder, meaning he organises the transport of goods. So, he has plenty of skills!

As for me, I have experience in the restaurant industry, taking orders, serving at tables, and preparing drinks. I even had the chance to be in charge of the dining room for a few days during an ownership change. I’ve also worked in elderly care and as a babysitter. And, like Thomas, I’m passionate about photography (but from the ground 😅)!

We also both love sports, healthy eating, and especially hiking! We enjoy a party from time to time, but we’re not big party animals. What we love most is being active, discovering new things, and learning. Spending the whole day in front of the TV is not for us! We need movement, adventure, and life!
