Description
Hi! My name is Annette, I’m 27 years old and I live in Germany.
I’m new to Workaway and currently looking for exciting new experiences! I’ll have a break between two jobs in autumn 2025, and I’d love to use that time to try something new. I believe there are so many things to do and experience in life. I love my profession, but I want to do something completely different for a while.
Right now, I work in a hospital as a pediatrician, so I’m very experienced in taking care of children.
I’d describe myself as an open-minded and friendly person, and I’m always happy to help. My friends say I have lots of energy, and friendships are something very important to me. I also enjoy learning new things – especially about gardening, fixing things around the house and being creative. So I’d be really happy to support you with any projects you have!
In general, I love traveling and discovering new places. I already speak English quite well, and I also speak a bit of French. I’m really excited about meeting new people and getting to know different cultures.
I’m looking for a stay of about one month with kind and welcoming hosts – ideally in a rural setting, where I can help with outdoor or nature-related tasks. It would be great if English is your first language so I can improve my skills through daily conversation. I also love animals, especially dogs and cats, and would be happy to help take care of them.

My education
I am a doctor, currently working in the pediatrics. I have experience in treating children.
Hobbys / skills
I like cooking and baking and as my friends tell, it tastes well :). I also love making delicious drinks. An another passion of mine is creating beautiful things such as flowers, decoration. I don't have a garden yet, but a balkony at least, I want to learn more about gardening!
As I am interested in learning Englisch, I can teach German to you.
