Description
Throughout my twenties, I've been steadily cultivating knowledge around gardening, permaculture, and herbalism, guided by a long term vision of living as self sufficiently as possible within a close knit community of friends. I'm deeply inspired by the idea of a simpler life rooted in nature, collaboration, and shared responsibility.

Over the years, I've volunteered on several eco projects across different climates, each experience strengthening both my practical skills and my commitment to this path. Each project has only deepened my curiosity, and I find myself continually drawn back to these environments, eager to learn more, to refine my understanding, and to grow in confidence.

Right now, I feel a particularly strong desire to immerse myself further in herbalism. This isn't just a passing interest, but something I truly want to deepen at this stage of my life. I'm especially eager to learn directly from hands on experience: plant identification, medicinal preparations, seasonal harvesting, drying, infusions, salves, tinctures, and the wisdom that surrounds working respectfully with plants. It feels like the right time for me to root more fully into this knowledge.

Alongside this, I'm a video editor and enjoy creating my own films in my free time. If it feels aligned, I would love to support your project by documenting, editing, or helping to share your work visually.

I had a lovely time. Wendy and Erich were very welcoming (as were the other members of the community). During my stay the work was very light and easy. Anna was a complete pleasure to have here. She made us a fabulous video of our community. She also worked in the gardens, in the kitchen and helped out community members in various ways. She has a positive attitude, is honest, caring and truly wants to help. I highly recommend Anna and would have her back any time.

This was my first workaway. The island of Samothraki was the perfect place for my first experience. This is an amazing project with a great message. I have no words to describe how generous Donnetta and Yuri are. The whole family is so welcoming and will make you feel at home right away. Lovely conversations, such enjoyable work and overall a lovely time. I highly highly highly recommend this workaway for anyone! You will not regret it.
