Hi there, I'm Alex—an outgoing optimist with an equal love for Type II fun and learning new skills. I enjoy hiking, camping, snowboarding, reading fantasy novels, and getting invested in overly complicated board games. I recently graduated from university in Boulder, Colorado, with a specialization in sociology. Before I figure out what I'm supposed to do with that piece of paper, I'm traveling through New Zealand with my lovely partner, Ashton.
Some of my favorite jobs include working as a camp counselor; teaching youth to ride horseback, rock climb, and go on backpacking excursions; working at Trader Joe’s, a highly customer-experience-driven grocery store where making people smile matters more than building picture-perfect stacks of produce; and working for a small, locally owned telescope company in the Mojave Desert in California, where I set up telescopes and camped nearby.


Hello, I am Ashton! I am initially from Tampa, Florida but spent the last 2 years living in Colorado with my partner Alex. I graduated with my degree in art and design and have most recently worked as a design consultant at a tile shop. Some of my favorite things in life include traveling, spending time outdoors, art, thrifting and cats!
Other job experience consists of working as a barista, a server/bartender, sales associate. I most enjoyed my seasonal position in Colorado as a conservation worker where I helped to restore habitats, control invasive species, maintain trails, and build animal friendly fences in state and national parks.
