Céline et Alex m'ont très bien accueilli. Le lieu et les gîtes sont très jolis. Les animaux sont adorables. J'ai pu aider Céline dans ses nombreuses tâches. Elle est bienveillante et cool dans sa communication. Elle rajoute toujours une touche d'humour. Merci à vous ! Gros bisous à Moka.

Ich habe zwei wundervolle Wochen mit Anni und Oli verbracht. Ich wurde direkt mit offenen Armen begrüßt und wir konnten uns über alles austauschen. Neben ein bisschen Routine wie den Pferdestall auszumisten, standen auch neue und abwechslungsreiche Aufgaben auf dem Tagesplan. Es wurde nie langweilig, denn auf dem Hof wohnen auch viele süße Tiere, die auf Streicheleinheiten gewartet haben. Es ist so schön anzusehen, wie die beiden sich ihren Hof aufgebaut haben und ich habe es sehr genossen, sie bei den alltäglichen Aufgaben zu unterstützen. In der Freizeit konnte ich die Umgebung und nahe liegende Städte erkunden und Anni und Oli haben mir direkt Aktivitäten und Routen empfohlen. Sie achten darauf, dass man einen wirklich tollen Aufenthalt ermöglicht bekommt. Auch wenn ich nicht so weit reisen musste, hat sich der Aufenthalt bei den beiden total gelohnt und ich würde es definitiv nochmal machen!! Vielen vielen Dank für diese unvergessliche Erfahrung. Mairéad and Emily just stayed for five weeks and it was a total pleasure! They are great company and I will miss them. Mairéad never stops talking, but she has many interesting things to say, she even made good friends with my neighbours and we all went out together a few times 😃 Mairéad and Emily are very polite, enthusiastic, helpful and considerate guests, going out of their way not to be any trouble at all. Initially we did some really hard work together, moving a large pile of sand and removing a giant compost heap, and they took that in their stride. They were happy to try all kinds of new skills, and Mairéad turned out to have a real talent for painting, she repainted my porch really immaculately. She also assembled my new garden benches, helped me change a metal fence panel, filled and painted some old wall and ceiling vents, clambered around in my loft fixing some insulation, helped me take the washing machine apart, weeded in the garden, and did a long list of other jobs. We had fun taking lots of photos for her dad to admire back in Ireland. Emily helped with all kinds of practical tasks too, including putting up paintings, cooking a great pasta bake, and fitting cover panels for my laundry cabinets. Once I discovered she is a great writer though, she mostly helped me with some of my own writing projects, which was fantastic. She did some proof-reading and editing, provided extremely useful feedback, and made great suggestions for building my profile. What a treat it has been to host them both 🌸

Inés was like an angel sent from heaven! It was a pleasure having her stay with us for two weeks. We enjoyed our time together due to her open-ness and willingness to try her hand at anything that needed doing. She is a fast learner with a positive and bright personality. It was easy to cook vegan meals for all of us while she was here since Chris and I were vegan at certain points in time in the past, so that was no problem at all. Even though we were her very first Workaway hosts, she became part of our household easily.Her respectful, grateful and collaborative attitude made her time with us a lovely and memorable experience. We miss her already!

I had a very enjoyable and rewarding stay with Bärbel and Joachim. They are fun, welcoming hosts who create a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, and the food they prepare is absolutely delicious. The work mainly involved gardening, which was a real pleasure because their garden is beautiful and full of character. I can warmly recommend a Workaway experience with them!

Sandra and her kids are very lovely, i love them. very good vibe! helpful and friendly host:) the time we spend was very nice and i will always remeber it. can really suggest staying with her:)

Anne was an incredible volunteer to have on our team for the past month, and we truly enjoyed having her! She jumped right in, supporting both the Communications department and our school programs, which shows how flexible and open-minded she is. Anne is a fantastic communicator—she bonded quickly with everyone and was always so proactive and responsible, often anticipating what was needed next. She happily contributed to our fundraising efforts as well. Everything Anne tackled, she did with remarkable precision, problem-solving skills, and genuine passion. Working with her was a real pleasure, and we highly recommend her for any future opportunity.

It was my frist workaway, and such a great first experience at Mayoor's farm. I felt immediately welcome with all the staff and volunteers. Mayoor is really passionate about all process of fermentation. That give me the opportunity to understand more about chocolate making and taste some good batches ; but also about cheese, kombucha, coffee, ... A perfect organisation of work, coordinated by Mukunth, who gave us our schedule every morning. That time, tasks on the farm was mostly about weeding, cleaning the farm and taking care of animals. I would be happy to come back in high season, when it's harvest time ! Mayoor knows well his place, so he gave me good recommandations to visit some places around on my free time. I also came to visit others farms with him, was very interesting. I enjoyed to share time with others volunteers and Mukunth during afternoon and evening time : talking, playing card, listening musics. And special thanks to for my Birthday cake ! Also a special thought to the ladies : thank you for yours smiles and energy ! Wish you all the best for the café and homestay project which would coming soon !

Anıl takes great care of the people he hosts and does everything he can to give them the best experience, fully immersed in real Turkish life. His lifestyle and way of thinking are truly inspiring, and I left this week with my head full of new ideas. This experience is more than a simple Workaway, it's about living in a community and sharing many things with Anıl. The work is varied and really interested to do, and I can’t wait to see how this unique and beautiful place continues to grow. I sincerely recommend you visit, and I wish you all the best for the future, Anıl.

Guilherme devait rester 3 semaines à la maison, il est finalement resté que 10 jours. Cela s'est bien passé avec tout le monde, Clara, le chat, Sylvie et moi. Il écoute de la bonne musique, il prépare bien le repas, maximum 2 fois par semaine ;) Nous avons eu un extra le dernier jour. Merci à toi et bonne route pour la suite.

My time with Sylvia was absolutely incredible – I can hardly put it into words. It was even better than I ever imagined. From the very first moment, she was so welcoming, kind, helpful and genuinely hospitable. I felt at home straight away. She is truly living my dream, and if I could, I would stay forever. The sheep — Bruce, Alan, Dave and Douglas — the chickens, especially my favourite Priscilla (she is unbelievably cute!), and of course Doris with her little babies… it was all just wonderful. And Cuthbert completely stole my heart. He is the sweetest, kindest boy. The work was easy and enjoyable — a bit of gardening, feeding the chickens and helping with small daily tasks. I loved every part of it. Being able to go on rides like this was simply indescribable. I have no words for how happy and grateful I am. I could never have dreamed of an experience like this. The weekend on the track was unbelievably beautiful. Mathilda is such an amazing horse — so friendly, gentle and absolutely stunning. I’m endlessly thankful for this opportunity, and I truly wish I could stay forever.

I had a lovely stay. There was lots of energy in the house and franciasco is a pragmatic and energetic man who makes wonderful Italian pastas. There was the opportunity to kitesurf and surf. I enjoyed my time at the house as there was a great beach within walking distance. Thank you very much

Volunteering with Jethro was my first workaway experience and I can say it exceeded my expectations. I had a lot of fun learning about the local area, Irish history and plenty of Jethro's stories, from Spain to Alice Springs he has some of the best tales. Every meal was a treat, Jethro being a great cook and an apt cocktail bartender (possibly a future career there with the pear daiquiri). Clearing out the courtyard and helping tidy the ground floor was very rewarding work. Jethro was more than happy to give me pointers and help me with easier ways to do the work. On my last day Jethro took me round the Burren and the local area, we had beers atop an old hill fort, overgrown and forgotten and enjoyed the history, before going caving and disturbing an old goat. We also HEAVILY judged restoration works on an old church ruin, I still don't see how they could have messed it up that badly. I had the best time with Jethro, he gave me plenty of advice for my further adventures and I hope to come back to Galway soon. Thanks Jethro!

Staying at Sara's was a wonderful experience, she's a generous soul and such an interesting person. On top of that, the cozy fireplace and the amazing view made it even more magical!

Had a deeply meaningful spiritual experience with Melwyn & Ritu at this lovely farm and ashram. Have been completely and unexpectedly inspired to become a pranic healer thanks to my stay here. Difficult to express the gratitude I feel for being introduced into this community and getting access to this knowledge.

Meine Zeit in der Gemeinschaft war fast wie ein kleines Retreat :-)) ich hatte die Möglichkeit unglaublich tolle, offene Menschen kennenzulernen und Teil ihrer Gemeinschaft zu sein. Danke! Die wertschätzende, positive Art des Zusammenseins hat mir viel Energie gegeben und ich habe mich vom ersten Tag an wohlgefühlt. Es wurde zusammen gekocht, gespielt, getanzt, gequatscht und natürlich auch gearbeitet :-) Ich möchte mich vom Herzen bei allen für die gemeinsame Zeit bedanken (Dankeschön an Erich für die erfrischenden Morgenspaziergänge). We had the absolute pleasure of hosting Dave and Evelyn for two weeks, and they were truly exceptional Workawayers. From the moment they arrived, they slotted straight into our family life with warmth, humour, and kindness. They were fantastic with our kids — playing cards, joining in games, jumping on the trampoline — and bringing so much joy and fun into our home. They also had great fun teaming up with Brett and getting up to all sorts of mischief while I was away! 😄 hehe I personally loved practicing my Mandarin with them, and as a family we all really enjoyed learning more about Taiwan, their culture, and their travels. In terms of work, Dave and Evelyn were incredibly hardworking, resourceful, and easy to have around. They helped with gardening, mulching, weed-whacking, sowing a new lawn, tidying /sorting cupboards, and much more. They were always willing to try anything and picked up tasks quickly. They also cooked us the most delicious Asian meals — we were seriously spoiled! Their food was amazing - seriously good cooks. It was an absolute delight hosting Dave and Evelyn. They became part of our family while they were here, and we missed them the moment they left. We cannot recommend them highly enough — any future host will be incredibly lucky to have them. Dave and Evelyn, thank you again for your kindness, fun, and hard work. We hope to cross paths again one day. ❤️🥰 Come back to Te Anau soon!

Her passion and dedication shone through in all her activities, and we recommend her without reservation. ​Jin's impact on our classes was significant. It was great having Aoi as a workaway, when she asked to stay for another month we didn`t hesitate to keep her. She was always helpful and very discrete and well integrated in the family and even made friends in local area. She got along well with the kids, they miss her now. We hope to be able to visit her in Japan some day, and she is always welcome back :)
