  Description

  Hello! We are a family of three with two teenagers, a very ambitious mother, two cats, and a dog. We live on a small farm surrounded by fields, forest, and water.
  
  Because of our love to our house, property and nature surrounding it, our maingoal is to maintain and help it reach its full potential. All three of us are busy on each our levels and having the opportunity to balance the day through this consept is fenomenal since we all like idea of learning to know other people and ways to talk, cook, live and act. We recognize that doing this through everyday life also brings it all into meaningfull and important learning situations. We have a big property and need help with everything required to maintain and develop it.
  The tasks can vary from small indoor household chores to outdoor work such as chopping wood, clearing brush, painting, weeding in the garden, snow shoveling, and other general maintenance tasks around the property.

  Being situated here means being close to nature, peace and the opportunities coming with our lifestyle, such as skiing, gardening, hiking or fishing or just breathing. We would like to share this experience with you.
  We are a curious group of people that actively look for ways to reflect our lifes and taking in other perspectives , which we consider being one of the important skills for our children to adapt. Keeping in mind that we are all one of a kind.
  As mentioned earlier the distance to civilization is only a 20 minutes drive if nescessary.

  Aide

  We are a small family of three: a mother and two teenagers. Our property is quite large and there is always something that could use an extra helping hand. Depending on the season, tasks may include bringing in and stacking firewood during the winter, mowing the lawn in the summer, preparing meals, baking bread, helping with gardening and greenhouse maintenance, or simply taking the dog for a walk.
  
  In the long term, we would like to further develop and improve our place so that it can better accommodate and welcome more Workawayers in the future. We enjoy the idea of cultural exchange and look forward to sharing experiences, learning from one another, and creating a positive and welcoming environment together.
  
  Living here, having a driver's licence and access to a car can be very useful. However, we travel to the nearest town almost every day, and it is also possible to get there by bus or by using our electric bicycle, which can be borrowed when needed.
  
  We hope to give you an insight into our way of life and into how important it is to us to care for and manage our place in an honest, responsible, and sustainable way. We enjoy sharing our daily life with visitors and believe that cultural exchange is a valuable opportunity to learn from each other and gain new perspectives.

  Hébergement

  The house is large, and you will have your own bedroom, with access to a bathroom and our living room. There is also the possibility to have more privacy in one part of the house, although we think of ourselves as one family when we all live under the same roof.
  
  During a busy day, dinner becomes our shared meal, which means that the other meals are often prepared either together with one of us or on your own.
  
  We are a food-loving family who believe we have things to share, but we also look forward to learning about new flavors and traditions. Our greenhouse provides us with tomatoes, cucumbers, and herbs, and the forest gives us berries and mushrooms—so foraging is an important autumn activity for us.
