Description
Hellooo,
We are a family with 2 children and animals [dogs, cats, chickens, peacock...].
We simply need help on a yearly basis, to take care of this beautiful land located 20 kms north of Lisbon!
We try to respect as much as we can our Mother Earth and we want to live in an organic land, with peace and positivism.
We are team players and open minded.
This is happening right now and daily help is really needed !
Our main tasks for this year in this 2.5 hec land are:
- Taking care of the animals.
- Assist with wood tasks
- Help on land (weeding etc...)
- Painting
- Etc....

With us you can learn a bit about permaculture, cooking, ecology and sustainability. We are multilingual and cultural: french, portuguese, english & spanish.
We love to cook, and eat!
We like to visit parties and festivals where we usually work and we regularly need people to stay at the farm at these moments!

Hébergement
At the moment we can offer different possibilities for sleeping (Yurt, wood cabin, caravan) in which mattresses + all bedding is provided.
We have a very nice small shared kitchen that can be used by all ... food is provided of course and everyone can cook.
We have washing machines and clean, nice compost toilets.

We live on the hill of São João dos Montes with an awesome view over the town of Alhandra and the river Tejo. The next small supermarket is 5 minutes by foot. To Alhandra you can walk in 20 minutes, from there goes the local train frequently to Lisbon. With that you are in the main train station of Lisbon in 20, in Barrio Alto in 30 minutes.
We have several cars and we drive down town regularly.

We highly recommend Edison, a very nice and respectful fella, interesting, interested and social human being, who did all tasks good, by our book... he handled our place with animals for some time very nicely while we were away, and we trusted him very easily... Edison is a must have 😃

We slept in a modern building where everything was provided. We had WIFI, warm showers, equipment to cook, sofa, etc. Even more, there was a swimming pool we could use! I was at Rico and Ann’s farm in December for ten days. I wanna to stay longer but I had an emergency situation at home.
They gave me a small wooden house with dry toilet and lots of blankets! I was able to see a river if I just opened the door. Moreover Rico and Anne try to recycle almost all garbage and it’s really wonderful.… read more
