Description
We run a language and activity centre that provides French language immersion trips for English school groups and English experiences for French children. We are based in the Yonne (89) in the beautiful Burgundy countryside.
Our centre specialises in giving the highest quality courses in language tuition through classroom based lessons, artistic and craft workshops as well as a range of sporting activities and cultural excursions. All our work is focussed on engaging and enthusing young people in language learning.
Our aim is to provide a safe and inspiring language and cultural experience that exceeds the expectations of all children and staff that come to our centre. -

A very rural area of France where very few people speak English. Living with a team of French teachers who can share experiences of language learning. An experience working with young people from the UK and from France, teaching both French and English. An ideal opportunity for anyone considering a career in teaching in the future.

Aide
We are looking for a language student from the UK to help support our French teachers for activities and excursions as well as help with the cleaning and washing at changeover time. There is also the opportunity to do some English teaching in local French schools.
The role is ideal for students who are on their year abroad whilst studying languages (including French) at University. We can organise a convention de stage with your University and can support a visa application for stays of longer than 3 months.
The position includes accommodation and food and an internship compensation of 100 euros per week. There may be opportunities to earn more doing private English lessons for local children.
We are looking for students to join us from the beginning of September through to the end of November and from mid-February through to mid-July. We also have a few additional positions available in May, June and July for students at the end of an academic year.. We do not operate in the month of August.
All our teachers are French nationals and so this is a great opportunity for students to immerse themselves in the French language as well as the beautiful Burgundy countryside. -
