Description
Welcome to our equestrian guest ranch in San Isidro Chichihuistan, Chiapas, Mexico! Located just 45 minutes outside the charming colonial town of San Cristóbal de las Casas, our ranch offers a unique retreat in the heart of nature.
Nestled in a valley surrounded by pine and oak forests, our ranch is a peaceful oasis. Providing a truly immersive experience in nature. With 100 acres of pristine prairies, our land is dedicated to organic gardening, creating an ideal environment for our grass-fed, free-range horses, sheep, and chickens.
At our ranch, we believe in treating animals with respect and kindness. Our horses are trained with care to maintain their spirit and magic, ensuring that their well-being is always a top priority. We do not use any animals for consumption, focusing instead on creating a harmonious environment for both humans and animals alike.
Our ranch is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, offering fantastic hiking trails, exhilarating horseback riding experiences, and the opportunity to observe a variety of bird species in their natural habitat.
Our international family, consisting of Samuel (US), Stephanie (FR), Zoe, and Cheyenne (MX, homeschooled), welcomes volunteers from around the world. We speak English, Spanish, and French, ensuring that everyone feels at home in our diverse and inclusive community.
Come join us at our ranch and experience the beauty and tranquility of life in the Mexican countryside!Types d'aide et opportunités d'apprendre

We are seeking willing, hardworking individuals to join us at our ranch! Experienced horseback riders are especially valuable to help keep our horses in top shape year-round. However, depending on the season, we also have openings for non-experienced riders who are eager to immerse themselves in authentic farm life and be surrounded by horses.
In addition to horse-related tasks, we also need help with tree planting (May-June), gardening (September-October), and general farm maintenance (May-December). When reaching out to us, please clearly indicate your level of horse riding experience and specify which tasks you are interested in assisting with.
For those interested in helping with horse exercise, it's important to note that we have 12 horses on the ranch, ranging in age from 6 to 24 years old. Each horse has a different level of experience, but all require consistent training and riding in our schools and the forest.
We look forward to welcoming passionate individuals who are eager to work hard, learn, and contribute to our ranch community!Langues
