  Description

  Home educating family who have moved to the wild northwest countryside of ireland for new adventures!
  We have bought an old stone farmhouse with a barn and 2 stone outhouses and 3 acres of land. It is already magical here with all of the beautiful trees and a stream and view of the mountains and we hope to make it even more magical as we build and improve the outside spaces and grow veg and add more and more animals! We have 2 kids 12 and 14 w 2 dogs and 1 cat and 2 horses.
  We love hiking surfing swimming kayaking horse riding and rock climbing and also are big into bushcraft and learning through nature.
  We need help in the garden and general tasks, gardening and help training the younger horse.

  They will get to stay in a very beautiful part of ireland and can go hiking climbing surfing/kayaking easily in gorgeous lakes and beaches here. They will get to hang out with some very cool wild kids and some lovely animals and we can show them around all of the great nature in the area. They can learn about looking after and trying to build a family eco smallholding. They can learn about home education and democratic learning.

  Aide

  We would love someone to help do projects outside and try to create fun spaces to play and hang out on our land.. We would be interested in hosting someone with experience with horses to help us with learning about our new pets and maybe tips on training the younger 4yr old horse.
  
  We need someone who loves kids and animals. Any basic gardening or permaculture skills be great.

  There are buses to sligo from the local village or we can drop you into sligo. There is a train in sligo and buses.
  There are many gorgeous walks/hikes and beaches lakes for fishing swimming surfing kayaking etc
  We spend alot of our time going for walks with the dogs and getting in the water!
