Hello all!
I'm Diana, 36 and mom to a lively and sweet but also stubborn 4yr old "bilingual" baby girl. in general I'm very passionate about all things natural (think diy cleaning solutions, ayurvedic remedies, yoga, meditation etc!)
I currently reside back in Italy but used to live in UK (for 7 yrs!) which I can with no doubt call my second home (and which I miss very very much!).
We live in the countryside just off the pretty seaside town called San Lorenzo al mare, very close to the city centre (about 10-15 min walk) in what used to be my grandparents' farm.
The farm is set in the hills with many fields and nature around it and very close to the sea and not far from the mountains either.

The workawayer can learn and speak English and Italian on a daily basis, immerse herself in the Italian local ways of living (we can teach recipes too!) . Also being so close to other attractions and places to visit they can easily experience new interesting touristy or quirky places nearby.
Volunteering shifts will be mainly mornings Monday to Friday. Afternoons evenings and weekends are free.
weekends the workawayer is free to travel but she is also more than welcome to accompany us in our outings from time to time should they wish to see more places together, experiencing things the Italian way (we can go food shopping, go to quirky places to eat, show you around the best things to do around here).
I love travelling and experiencing new cultures so I welcome for sure anyone who is willing to share their know how, whether it is cooking or advice on vegetable growing or childcare etc
As I have hosted quite a few volunteers now I can say I definitely need someone who is proactive, reliable and trustworthy, keen to learn and willing to complete the tasks on their own. I may need them to look after my child from time to time and be a new play mate for her while I work if she is home from nursery or on holiday

Child care, home care and gardening/farming
We are seeking a proactive and hands on English/Italian speaking girl to help me out with a variety of tasks like light house chores, gardening, cultivating, painting, occasional childcare etc. The volunteer will be my "hands" whilst I'm busy working and being a mum

I am bilingual English and Italian and also know some French. I can teach English and Italian in a conversational way and I love to learn new languages when I have time! More languages the better :)
Hébergement
The volunteer will be staying in a separate flat upstairs with exclusive use of a bedroom and shared use of the other living spaces (bathroom and open plan kitchen/living room). The shared areas may occasionally be utilised as a "touch point" by other family members coming over to work in the property and fields.
The workawayer can use the kitchen upstairs to cook and sometimes If I cook italian typical food I have shared it with the volunteer to let me try different recipes (and/or taught them how to cook italian recipes).

To give an overview of our location, San Lorenzo al mare is in the north western part of Liguria, a very thin region which is lucky enough to have both the sea and the Alps. Here there is a lovely cycling path which runs along the seaside coast and links us to the other towns (the path arrives up until France and further I believe). There are also other lovely places to visit nearby such as Imperia, Sanremo, Bussana Vecchia etc.
If they are outdoorsy tipe, they can hire the bike on the cycling path and visit new places that way when the weather permits, otherwise they can move by public transport or we can recommend a car hire place nearby too.
If they would like to visit the mountain we are close enough for them to be able to do trekking in the Alps too!
Speaking about special "features " of my family, I'm a vegetarian and very keen into pursuing spiritual and holistic practices like yoga, meditation, etc Super fond of animals especially dogs. Loving nature, fitness and longing for my own "quiet" time. Also very passionate about travelling the world and cooking!

Digital nomads welcome as I will be myself working remotely. An extra wifi pay as you go package must be purchased by the volunteer/digital nomad (just need advance notice to arrange it and will be paid by the traveller).

She took her time to complete tasks si they were done at their best, like stencil painting and cleaning.
Despite her not having much experience with babies as young as my daughter she tried her best to entertain her and engage with her and the dog!
