  I'm a passionate volunteer dedicated to empowering youth and communities. With a strong focus on teaching life skills, I help students develop essential competencies to thrive personally and professionally. As a co-founder of an NGO specializing in precision agriculture, we works to support farmers in improving productivity and building resilience against climate change. By integrating innovative farming techniques and sustainable practices, the organization aims to enhance food security and support smallholder farmers. My mission is to drive positive change through education, technology, and environmental stewardship.

  As a host, I’m excited to offer a language exchange opportunity for my students and co-workers. Through interactions with Workawayers, they can improve their language skills by practicing English and other languages in a real-world setting. This exchange will enhance communication abilities, foster cultural understanding, and broaden their perspectives. It’s an enriching opportunity for everyone involved, as my students and team will not only learn new languages but also gain insights into different cultures, improving both their personal and professional growth.

  Hébergement

  I live with a mix of European and Malagasy food traditions, so the meals offer a unique blend of both cultures. Workawayers are welcome to cook and explore the local ingredients or join me in preparing meals. I provide a clean, private room with hot water, ensuring a comfortable stay. For lunch, I typically eat at work, but I make sure that breakfast and dinner are taken care of, with plenty of opportunities to share meals and enjoy each other’s company.

  During their time off, Workawayers can explore the local area, which is about 5 km from the center. There’s a bus stop nearby, with services available until around 7:30 pm. If they enjoy nature, hiking is a great option to discover the beautiful surroundings. I personally don’t party, but I enjoy quiet activities like hiking and doing some house chores. We can discuss any other activities or house rules as needed to ensure a comfortable stay for everyone. My lifestyle is calm, and I value respect for shared spaces.

  I don’t have Wi-Fi, but I use mobile data. Digital nomads can fit their work around helping with tasks, and we can discuss flexible times for that. The environment is quiet and conducive for remote work, with a good balance between personal projects and community support.
