  Description

  Enjoy a picturesque stay with a loving and (rapidly) growing family in the Laurentian Mountains, 40 minutes away from Mont Tremblant, a one minute walk from over 40kms of hiking/biking/atv trails and a five minute walk from a well maintained beach on a small lake.
  
  Our family is myself, my husband Adam, and my daughter Elizabeth, our two brand new twin daughters Chelsea & Charlotte and our fluffy husky Oreo. We enjoy spending time in the outdoors and enjoying our picture perfect home in mountains- whether it be spending time in our backyard or at the beach or exploring forest trails.
  
  We decided to move away from the city during covid, and haven't looked back. We would love to share our little piece of paradise with you and anyone who has never experienced what the Laurentian Mountain range has to offer. We are a small, but tight knit community of a few hundred during the summer and less than a hundred during the winter time.

  We are both very good French speakers and are more than happy to help someone learn the language. I went to school for English and writing, and would be more than happy to share my skills and knowledge with anyone who has an interest. My husband is very handy, and very good at DIY projects as well! He’s also always willing to teach anyone who wants to learn to be more self sufficient.

  Aide

  With our brand new twin daughters, we are looking for help taking care of our first daughter, two years old, and of course help around the house.
  
  Our daughter is a very sweet girl and isn’t shy at all. She might take a minute to warm up to you, but she is very easy to get along with once she does! As for the house- there is always something to clean, meal prep to do and other various housework that needs doing.
  
  And there is always a playful puppy who is more than happy to go on nice walks around our gorgeous neighbourhood. We’re looking for some who can do a 6-8 week stay, with flexibility if needed.

  Hébergement

  We live in a three bedroom house with two stories and a fully furnished basement which is completely set up as a bedroom that includes its own bathroom. We have a spacious backyard perfect for kids who want to run around and adults who want a place to relax in the covered gazebo. It’s a warm and inviting home.
  
  We’re a very healthy family, and with a toddler we always have a fully stocked fridge. Breakfast and lunch are usually my daughter and I as my husband works, but dinner is always a family affair. And we always have room at the table!

  In your time off we are a five minute walk away from a private beach with lake access that is perfect for relaxing! We are also close to good walking trails that show off our beautiful forests as well as a local park.

  My husband works from home, and our internet is fast and reliable. We would be more than willing to accommodate someone who has the same needs. We currently have fibre internet with unlimited upload and download.

  We have plenty of space for a van or camper on our property, and can easily hook up our water and septic to yours.
