Description
Based in Brunswick, we live centrally, close to all the best Melbourne has to offer. Our guests love Brunswick and being so close to the CBD and also with easy access to regional Victoria and the International airport.
We have two children (now 11 and 14) who are lots of fun and love playing board games, hanging out with our guests, cooking, sport and local outings.

The kids are especially welcoming and love international visitors. You will live in Brunswick, one of the best spots for being able to see Melbourne. We can help with ideas for further travel in rural Victoria and beyond. You will have your own space and plenty of time to enjoy things for yourself as well as company with us!

Aide
We are a family with two children (11 and 14). Based in Brunswick, we live centrally, close to all the best Melbourne has to offer. We like simple things - park outings, food outings, some basketball, dog walking, hanging out at home in the garden or playing board games. There is always something fun happening in our local community.
At the moment, we are seeking people with gardening, painting, home maintenance, decluttering/organising and childcare experience with references please (a driver's licence, driving experience and confidence would be good too).
(Please note - we only take non smokers. We are fine with people with individual dietary needs and values - we enjoy vegan and vegetarian food and we also eat some meat and fish as well - but we like diversity and healthy food mainly).
Also, help is needed across many daily activities for our home and family - eg gardening, helping with tidying and cleaning the house, daily tasks such as the laundry and the dishes, helping with all sorts of tasks - may include painting, window cleaning, moving things (not too heavy) around the house, occassional DIY projects etc...We have an upholstery project that needs to be done if we should be so lucky to find someone with this skill and also exceptional sewing abilities. (a wish, not a necessity!)
The kids are friendly and fun and love international visitors. We would like you to feel welcome and part of our family while you stay in the best spot for seeing Melbourne. We can help with ideas for further travel in rural Victoria and beyond. You will have privacy in your room from the family and shared bathroom facilities.
We are close to great shops, library, gyms, swimming pool, cafes, restaurants, transport - two trams to city, one train, many bus lines across Melbourne, 5km from central city, close to parks, supermarket....everything! You may be able to borrow a bicycle or other things too if you need...
