Description
We are a happy and busy family with two children (12 and 9). Based in Brunswick, we live centrally, close to all the best Melbourne has to offer. We enjoy bike riding, music, swimming, basketball, catch up with friends, bbq's at home - spending time with friends and family. There is always something fun happening in our local community.

The kids are especially welcoming and love international visitors. You will be part of a genuine Brunswick family and will live in the best spot for seeing Melbourne. We can help with ideas for further travel in rural Victoria and beyond. You will have your own space and plenty of time to enjoy things for yourself as well as company with us and our great friends in the street!

Hello Workawayers!
We are a happy and busy family with two little children (12 and 9). Based in Brunswick, we live centrally, close to all the best Melbourne has to offer. We enjoy bike riding, music, swimming, catching up with friends, bbq's at home - spending time with friends and family. There is always something fun happening in our local community.
At the moment, we are seeking people with Au Pair/child care experience and references please (a driver's licence, driving experience and confidence would be a big plus but not essential). Also, we have some larger painting and house jobs that would benefit people that enjoy DIY painting and odd house jobs.
(Please note - we only take non smokers. We are fine with people with individual dietary needs and values - we enjoy vegan and vegetarian food and we also eat some meat and fish as well - but we like diversity and healthy food mainly).
Also, help is needed across many daily activities for our home and family - eg gardening, helping with tidying and cleaning the house, daily tasks such as the laundry and the dishes, helping with all sorts of jobs - may include painting, window cleaning, moving things (not too heavy) around the house, occassional construction projects etc...
The kids are friendly and fun and love international visitors. We would like you to feel welcome and part of our family while you stay in the best spot for seeing Melbourne. We can help with ideas for further travel in rural Victoria and beyond. You will have privacy in your room from the family and shared bathroom facilities.
We are close to great shops, library, gyms, swimming pool, cafes, restaurants, transport - two trams to city, one train, many bus lines across Melbourne, 5km from central city, close to parks, supermarket....everything! You may be able to borrow a bicycle or other things too if you need...
