  Description

  English version:
  The family project is located in the southwest of Portugal and deals with the restoration and renovation of an old water mill with four associated houses. The five houses are located on the flat foothills of a mountain, surrounded by olive trees and cork oaks. At the foot of the mountain, on the other side of the mill stream, there are meadows.
  
  The project location is in the Alentejo region, directly on the border to the Algarve and only approx. 4.5 km as the crow flies from the cliffs of the Atlantic. It is located in the Concelho (district) of Odemira, in the middle of the nature reserve "Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano da Costa Vicentina", within walking distance of the coastal town of Odeceixe. The beaches on the west coast of Portugal are among the most beautiful beaches in Europe and the nearby beach is a 10 minute drive away. In addition to the perfect conditions for surfing, the area also offers many hiking trails along the coast.

  Das Familienprojekt befindet sich im Südwesten von Portugal und befasst sich mit der Restauration und Renovierung einer alten Wassermühle mit vier zugehörigen Häusern.
  Die insgesamt fünf Häuser, liegen auf dem flachen Ausläufer eines Berges, umgeben von Olivenbäumen und Korkeichen. Am Fuße des Berges, auf der anderen Seite des Mühlbaches, schließen sich Wiesen an.
  
  Der Projektstandort ist in der Region Alentejo, unmittelbar an der Grenze zur Algarve und nur ca. 4,5 km Luftlinie von der Steilküste des Atlantiks entfernt. Er liegt im Concelho (Kreis) Odemira, inmitten des Naturschutzgebietes „Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano da Costa Vicentina“, fußläufig vom Küstenort Odeceixe entfernt.
  Die Strände an der Westküste Portugal gehören zu den schönsten Stränden Europas und der nahegelegene Strand befindet sich 10 Minuten Fahrzeit entfernt. Die Gegend bietet neben den perfekten Verhältnissen zum Surfen auch viele Wanderwege entlang der Küste.

  Als Architekt und langjähriger Bauleiter in Deutschland möchte ich gerne mein Wissen und meine Tipps aus langjähriger Erfahrung an junge, motivierte Handwerker weitergeben.
  Dich erwartet eine enge Zusammenarbeit zwischen den Gewerken und die Mitarbeit in fast allen Bauphasen.
  Darüber hinaus soll ein Einblick in das traditionelle portugiesische Handwerk vermittelt und das wunderbare Land mit seinen liebenswerten Menschen kennen gelernt werden.
  Freude am Handwerk und die Weiterentwicklung von Techniken spielt bei dem Projekt eine wichtige Rolle.
