  Description

  Hello, volunteers from all over the world!
  
  My name is Peter, a gentleman from Cambodia and the CEO of a private school located in Poipet, Cambodia. I used to study abroad and meet many foreign people in Switzerland, and I just started with this school project from nursery up to high school. We have around 700 to 800 students, from primary to secondary school, and I need volunteers to help me with their education. We mainly focus on the English language; therefore, all native English speakers are more than welcome to join us any time of the year.
  So, I welcome some help from volunteers or travelers in Cambodia, especially those who have English background studies or speak English with proficiency, so in this way, they can interact with the kids in the learning process. All the teachers with experience are very welcome to join us for long-term or short-term periods as well.
  
  The main areas in which we need help are:
  -GRAMMAR AND WRITING.
  -DRAMA AND ROLE-PLAY.
  -VOCABULARY BUILDING.
  
  In our school, we have a teaching staff of around 30 teachers, among them 6 local English teachers, so the volunteers will complement our English Department.

  Volunteers can learn about the local life in the countryside of Cambodia and get some experience in the teaching and learning field as well. Maybe they should increase their teaching skills and share them with local families and kids. Also, they can learn how to speak some Khmer and try the local cuisine, which is very tasty. Our purpose is to create a nice environment for the teachers so they can feel comfortable during their stay with us.

  Aide

  We are a private high school in the countryside of the kingdom of Cambodia, located in Poipet City, nearby the Thai border.
  We need help on the following matters:
  We need volunteers to teach and practice English with small and big kids.
  We need volunteers to help us to promote our school, through indoor and outdoor activities.
  We need volunteers to update our social media platform.
  
  We are looking in general for language partners, vocational teachers, teachers with experience, or any native English speaker who is keen on the English language.
  
  We can host up to four people of any age with a good or high level of English. We can host volunteers for short- and long-term stays as well.
  
  The normal schedule would be:
  Morning classes and afternoon classes
  There are no classes during the weekends, so the volunteers might have to use their free time to explore the town or go to other cities.

  Hébergement

  We offer our volunteers a private room (or, depending on availability, a shared room) near the school. We also help with transportation to and from the school site. In addition, we provide three meals a day.
  
  The school will order food for you, 3 times a day, after the classes are over. And also we provide plenty of drinking water for you, so you don't need to worry about water/food issue.

  During their spare time, volunteers can go to other cities, like Siem Reap, visit Angkor Wat Temples and other temples on weekends, and explore more towns around the area.

  We have a good internet connection in our school and offices, so all digital nomads can work well in our place. Plus, you may have your weekends free to do any other job you might.
