  Description

  As a married couple in our 50's, we live on a couple of acres 50km outside Melbourne CBD (easily accessible by public transport). Our home has plenty of space for you and us to have our own space and yet come together when it suits. Outside is remarkably peaceful given we are within easy walk of shops, train, bus, public reserves etc. We have 1 chicken, 1 small dog and loads of birds flying free in our trees. We are involved with tourism, which for the right person/s may give the chance for local travel/sightseeing either for working or just coming along. We are willing to pick you up from CBD or airport.

  We are involved in tourism so we would be willing to invite our person/s to come along with us (when appropriate) - see the sights, meet new people, learn more about the places we visit.
  Also where we live offers inner urban convenience with quasi rural aspect.

  We have recently had a lovely workawayer attending to our mulching so now we would most like to have people with us who are quite competent with a paintbrush, as well as some general maintenance, gardening and maybe a little housework. The weather looks to be very kind at the moment for relaxed outdoor work, especially in the middle of the day. Our little dog has loved having our workawayer here so we hope you like an exurberant, happy Jack Russell as she is very much part of our family.

  We can offer twin bed or queen bed arrangement in our home with shared bathroom or, if preferred, your own bedroom, bathroom and living area in our 2nd home which is next door to us. You would walk just 10m to our home for all activities including meals etc.
  Our meals are not elaborate but very relaxed. Anyone with us would be encouraged to join in, any way they felt comfortable. We respect and understand special dietary needs and would be willing to work with such although we have no major such issues ourselves. We are a non smoking household and enjoy casual alcohol consumption

  For time off you can easily access public transport to a range of areas including Melbourne CBD. If you have your own transport we are less than 1 hour from Phillip Island, Yarra Valley, Dandenongs, Gippsland.
  We both work from home quite a bit so would often be available to drive you to train etc. Our lives are not strictly timetabled so if you wished your arrangements to be flexible this would most likely not be a problem
