  Description

  We are interested in sharing experiences and building genuine connections. We love listening and storytelling.
  
  We welcome guests from April to September. We ask for assistance with the maintenance of our botanical garden in exchange for room and board. We ask for stays of at least 2-3 weeks. For the months of July and August, a knowledge of Italian is required.
  
  We are located in a remote and wild alpine area, where time seems to slow down and nature breathes freely. Ancient forests, silent lakes, crystal-clear streams, and wild animals surround us like guardians of a suspended world. Tourism has not yet left deep footprints here: many areas remain untouched, still whispering old legends and mysteries.
  
  If you feel the call of the mountains, of a simple life, of a special connection with Nature, you may have found your refuge.
  
  In the park, we offer educational and nature-based activities. The park is primarily frequented by women who appreciate a welcoming and sensitive atmosphere. Ideally, we welcome volunteers who resonate with this energy, although we remain open to anyone who feels aligned with the spirit of this place.
  
  Our financial resources are limited, and we cannot offer any form of payment. This is a volunteer experience based on exchange, trust, and reciprocity.

  The environment is convivial, free, and adult. The house sits at the center of a small universe: sometimes filled with voices and shared meals, other times quiet and deeply regenerating.
  
  If you’re looking for chaos and city life, you won’t find it here. But if you wish to slow down, listen, touch the earth, and be touched by the essence of things, the forest is waiting for you.
  
  We don’t speak foreign languages well, but we’re excellent Italian teachers.

  We can offer you cordiality, company and experiences (professional and human).Above all, you will have the opportunity to observe the particular management of the forest that allows its use at night. You will become part of our family and share history, culture, and good food.
  
  Daniele is a careful connoisseur of the history and natural places of the area. He will be happy to accompany you to discover the natural and artistic beauties of the area.

  Aide

  The main help requested is for the maintenance of our park. These are outdoor tasks, but not particularly strenuous. Volunteers will contribute to the development of the flower garden, as well as general maintenance (construction, path making, mowing ...).
  
  Help with video/photography, art, and music is also welcome.
  
  We don't usually ask for help with cleaning, but it can happen. Instead, we like to cook and eat together.

  We're available to teach Italian (we're good at it). However, we prefer people with a basic knowledge of the Italian language (this is important to us).

  Hébergement

  We only host one "Workawayer" at a time.
  We offer a single room with private bathroom and shower.
  Sheets, pillowcases, blankets, pillows, towels and all the essentials for sleeping will be provided. Instead, you will need to bring with you: slippers (if you use them) and personal hygiene products..
  
  We will cook and eat all meals together. The cuisine is typical Friulian cuisine: cereals, soups, vegetables, meat, cheeses, sausages. If you are vegetarian we try to accommodate your needs.
  
  Cigarettes are not allowed in the house.
  Pets are not allowed (we have a very territorial cat).

  Autres infos...

  The meeting point will be the Udine or Carnia train station. Then we will reach the house by car.
  
  The house is immersed in the forest. The nearest village is 2.5 km away.
  
  Some interesting hiking trails pass by the house, there is also a beautiful alpine stream here.
  
  Without your own means of transport, it is not easy to move around the neighboring countries. But do not worry, once or twice a week we will accompany you ourselves to visit the natural and artistic beauties of the region according to your preferences.
