**English:
We had the opportunity to help with this project over the last 8 months and it was really great. This was the first time we spent a long time on a project and that says a lot.
WORK: We have helped in this wonderful educational environment, where we carry out all types of work: art, maintenance, gardening, childcare, janitorial,
… read more cleaning and even participation in classrooms. We arrived during the holidays when the project was moving to a new location and we worked especially with the move and then with the renovation (painting, electricity, gardening, installing PVC flooring) of the place. It was a very rewarding job, stress-free and with a lot of learning, both about the local culture and the teaching methodology they use, when classes started. The current location is recent so there is a lot of potential for creating new areas (especially external) that will serve as classrooms or workshops for students.
PLACE: It is a spectacular educational environment, where you feel at home. The children are friendly and super creative, the teachers are very attentive and the parents are very kind.
The project provides, in the same work space, a large furnished private room with bathroom, very comfortable and super warm in winter. The place is a little far from the city, but very quiet and you sleep very well. Everything is comfortable, the project offers everything you need, the budget for food was included and we were able to use a small kitchen (with stove and refrigerator) to prepare our meals. The families always helped us with whatever we needed, especially giving a hitchhike to go to Chieri (the closest city) and Turin. They also hosted us in Turin (especially during the weekend).
The place is located in a very small country town called Pavarolo where there isn't much to do. Unfortunately, public transport is practically non-existent and that is the negative point. It is difficult to have independence to come and go. But if you have a means of transport (car, motorcycle) or like challenges with a bike you won't have any problems. If you have at least a driver's license valid for Europe, it will help. A teacher can lend you their car to do the shopping and the project was planning to buy a Scooter for the volunteers to use, which would be great.
Even so, we had invitations to attend music or cultural events in Turin and nearby cities and we stayed with families in Turin several times to explore what the city had to offer.
DIGITAL NOMAD: If you are a digital nomad, it is perfect to do your work or projects here. There is no Wi-Fi in the place but you can buy your own SIM card that is enough for working.
WHO: It's a very good project for couples and families and for who is interested on learning about Montessori methodology.
WHAT ELSE: There were even some extra (paid) jobs like babysitting, painting on the walls, cleaning, etc. for families who support the project.
We are very happy and satisfied with these months of experience in this beautiful place. We wish the project all the best and hope to return in the future.

Jacques and Paola have been with us for almost a year!! Over time they have become another member of our team and our educational community.
They have had great availability and flexibility to adapt to the tasks that were necessary for the project at all times: from gardening to maintenance of spaces and furniture, from electricity to wall
… read more painting, from English classes to Lettering projects, helping with cleaning of the headquarters, child care, safeguard the security of the door. We have seen great autonomy and responsibility when carrying out tasks, finding moments and spaces for everything, also respecting the hours that corresponded to them.
The treatment with children and adults is gentle, loving, respectful. We will miss them very much.
Don't hesitate to welcome them if they contact you!
Paula, Jacques, you know that we appreciate you beyond the words of this brief review, always welcome!!
See you soon and good luck!!!

Bellow I will tell a little bit about tmy amazing experience.
THE PROJECT: this is an educational center. The teaching method is very creative and give the kids a lot of great experiences and opportunities to develop their personality
knowledge and personal skills in a very freeway.
MY TASKS: My main task was to help Ainara allong her day at
… read more the place, specially when going out to adventures on the hills once she was the youngest of her group. She is a very independent and easygoing solar girl, thou as a 2,5 years old she needed some special attention like to the toilet moment or walking long distances. I would also give a hand to prepare the snack and with the other kids when necessary. At home sometimes I would stay with the girls when the parents need to go for meetings or the supermarket. At the place everyone was super nice and kind. They are a real comunity ready to welcome you.
THE ACCOMODATION: The house is beautiful and very big. I would stay at the first floor in a private room and with a separeted toilet, having it basicly just for me once the other rooms, kitchen and livingroom are at the second one. I was always welcome to stay upstairs with them but also free to stay downstairs relaxing by my onw. The house is very confortable, it is on the Hills so the view is breathtaking. To get the bus or go to the neighbour town would require quite a walk, thou Bea and Marco are very open to give you a ride.
THE FAMILY: They are the most amazing people I could have met! They welcome me so well, were absolutely kind and lovely to me my whole staying. The girls are very creative, artistic and enthusiastic. They were a real family to me and I will always be thankful for it and this beautiful experience. Even Coco and Frida (the fluffy cats) were super nice.
I absolutely reccomend this workaway experience and hosts!

I spent a couple of wonderful months visiting this place on the beginning of this year. Beatrice and Marco are wonderful hosts and they were willing to help and chat with me whenever I needed a company, and it's easy to say that I felt welcomed since the beginning. … read more laughter and life. All in all the joy of learning, creativity, and supporting each child in the best way possible were natural parts of the life of this family (and the school!) and I liked it very much! I was well incorporated into the daily life of the school as well as the life of the host family and overall my time there was full of laughter, joy and kindness.
