Hi workawayers! 🙂
we need some help here with house and garden.
We are a happy, easy-going couple living in beautiful small village Sävsjöström in Småland - 45 km from Växjö. Come stay with us to experience a lovely Swedish nature. You can enjoy our beautiful bike trails (we have some bicycles) take a walk in the beautiful forests surrounding us and pick wild blueberries, or appreciate some quiet time to yourself meditating and admiring the nature. If you’re lucky, you might see wild animals (maybe even a moose or two). You can also go swimming in the lake. If you are here in mid-June, you will experience a true Swedish midsummer. This is an ideal opportunity for a person who is looking for a peaceful and quiet stay.
Our village is located far away from large cities, among forests. Connection and road is good. The nearest grocery store is in Lenhovda - 8 km.
Usually ours workawayers helping for 5 hours
We appreciate if you start your job after breakfast 8-9 AM, after 2,5 hours you will have break and eat some FIKA (snack) or a simple lunch (like soup, hot dog, hamburger etc.) with us and than you will continue your tasks.
ATTENTION...IF YOU WISH YOU CAN HELP 2.5 HOURS A DAY BUT WE DO NOT PROVIDE MEALS.
We eat normally - neither particularly healthy nor particularly unhealthy.
Usually we eat the dinner (5-6 PM) together with our workawayers and we can ask you to help with preparation this.
We are meat lovers:) Our diet includes dairy products, meat, gluten and sugar. If You are vegetarian or vegan, so We are afraid you might not accept our cuisine :(
Once in week we will do some picking and something more:)
We provide clothes. Don't worry about sweaters or jackets because we'll lend you some if you want :)

So….. Sävsjöström is beautiful .It is a municipality "made for" nature experiences. You can fishing or bike.

We are looking for enthusiastic workawayer who can help us with the tasks in our house and our garden. This involves some painting, normal housework, repairs needed, wall painting, wallpapering etc.
Actually we need also help in the garden.
It’s really important to us that you are happy with your stay and that we are happy with you and your help, that’s why we value honesty and an open dialogue. We are hoping to make new friends, learn about a new culture and teach about our country and life in Sweden.
We prefer a smiling, easygoing, self-motivated and reliable person.
We are looking forward to hearing from you and hopefully also meeting you in Sävsjöström.
