    Description

(At this moment there are working on the village road right by the farm. There is a bit noise during the day)

Hello!! We (my cats, my plants, my trees, and I) live on a small quinta at the edge of a tiny village. The land has several olive trees, fig trees, grapevines, quince, and young trees of persimmon, pear, and hazelnut. There’s a well with plenty of water and a small solar panel that provides energy to use the computer, charge phones, fridge and all USB devices. =)

    River beach:
A beautiful one, just 8 minutes away by car.

    City (Castelo Branco):
    About 30 minutes away.

We are in total nature here. Ideal to rest and get in touch with the trees, plants and work in personal growth projects.

If you need more information, feel free to ask! 🌸

I'm from Brazil, so I speak Portuguese and can help you with the local language or with simple translations if needed. I can also show you an easy and friendly way to move around and connect with the community. If you’d like, we can also practise some Spanish together.

For local events and gatherings, we can check a Facebook group that shares most of what’s happening in Castelo Branco and the surrounding villages — from music and art to local fairs and ecological projects.

I also enjoy sharing a few things that bring balance and creativity to life: foot reflexology, Bach flower remedies, feline well-being, basic sewing and crochet, and simple photography tips. Nothing formal — just relaxed, heart-based exchanges where we can learn from each other.

At this moment, we’re mainly looking to have people around so I can know the people before I leave in December.

At this moment, what we really need, first of all, is help to get the caravan fixed. We need to fix the water from the sink which is not working and we need to fix details on the wall and paint it inside. Secondly, I’d really appreciate some help taking care of the land — pruning the plants, and harvesting olives when the time shortly comes. After that, at the end of December I will leave and the farm will need someone to keep it.

    Accommodation:
You’ll stay in the caravan that fits up to two people (double bed) and includes a small kitchen. (2 burners, mini fridge without freezer. Water sink is broken).

    Bathroom:
There’s a simple outdoor shower area — we heat the water beforehand. I’m planning to build another space soon so that we can both have more privacy. The toilet is a dry toilet (off grid).

    “Fancy” shower 😊:
If you prefer a proper hot shower, there’s a perfect free one about 12km minutes from here, just past the river beach. Nearby you’ll also find a gas station and a small market that sells a bit of everything.

    Food:
I usually go to the market at the city twice a week since the fridge is small and I cannot have frozen food storage. There’s a small café in the village (good for emergencies, though a bit expensive). A bread lady comes once a week, and there’s also a frozen-food delivery lady who passes by weekly. (Both on Wednesdays)
