  Description

  Hi there :) We run small food and cooking holiday business in Tuscany. Oli is a chef, cookery instructor and professional fresh pasta maker, and Flo is an events professional. We came together to create cookery and gastronomy and retreats in a beautiful, natural and undiscovered corner of Italy. We live in a beautiful hilltop village in southern Tuscany, while the guests stay a few minutes away in poolside holiday apartments. The views are incredible and from our village you can see all the way down to the sea and the islands of Giglio and Elba. We live a very natural lifestyle with local and sustainably produced food, and we are surrounded by nature. The surrounding area involves classic and beautiful Tuscan style medieval villages and towns, olive groves, vineyards as well as multiple natural parks. Flo and Oli are warm, welcoming and relaxed, with a passion for what they do.

  Our mission in what we do is to show people the benefits and beauty of sustainable, small-scale and high quality Italian cooking, food production and ingredients sourcing, and connecting with nature. If you enjoy these ideas and subjects, then you will enjoy being with us. You will also get under the skin of Italian culinary culture, and meet and interact with lots of Italians - so if you have a passion for Italian culture you will enjoy this too. The nature around is stunning too.

  Aide

  We need an extra pair of hands to help maintain where we live. We are flexible - It depends on what the workawayer feels are their skills/what they are confident and comfortable doing, but jobs could be things like outdoor/garden help (we have a little vineyard!), cooking at our home (you won't be required to cook for the business!), cleaning/house maintenance, food shopping etc!

  In your spare time you can relax in the beautiful nature, there is also a pool nearby which you can use. The medieval village is great for exploring, and if you like running or hiking there is no end of opportunity to explore. You may be able to join in with some of the guests' activities - e.g vineyard or cheesemaker visits too. There is also some public transport to take you to the nearby towns or even the sea. If you have your own transport you can explore Tuscany, go to waterfalls, beaches, lakes and more.
