  Description

  PLEASE NOTE: I am looking for someone from May 13m or so for 2-4 weeks. (Until sometime in early July.)
  
  I am a musician and graphic artist. I work in the film industry, so sometimes I am off work for a few months at a time. I am 58 years old. I am a feminist and queer ally. I'm youthful and fun to be around. (Or so I've been told!)
  
  I've done 18 workaways in 9 different countries in the last 10 years or so. Now I'm back home for a spell and need some help around my house. I do not drink or smoke or do drugs, and expect you to be respectful of my house rules surrounding alcohol and smoking.
  
  St. John's is a beautiful city! I am an easy 35-min walk from downtown. The bus stop is a 1-minute walk from my house, you can be downtown in 10 mins or less. There is lots to see and do in our beautiful city.
  
  I have parking for a vehicle if you have one.

  I am a musician and graphic artist. I work in the film industry. I've travelled a lot and have done 18 workstays in the last 10 years. I have many friends and am part of the local music community, and I host a monthly Bhakti chanting group in my home. I can teach you how to meditate.

  Aide

  The room that you will stay in needs to be painted. (There is a third bedroom where you can sleep while the room is being painted.) There are other small tasks around the house, but painting is the main thing. Railing and stairs going upstairs need to be painted. There is always cleaning to be done. I have a large shed that needs to be cleaned and organized a bit.
  
  I will be at work Monday to Friday while you are here, often long hours. I can help with tasks on the weekends, and some evenings if I don't work late. You will mostly be on your own.

  Hébergement

  Small bedroom with a single bed. This room needs to be painted, so you will also stay in another bedroom or on the couch. You will mostly have the main bathroom to yourself, which you will be responsible for keeping clean.
  
  We can get groceries together when you arrive and you will mostly be responsible for making your own food, but we can cook together. I need to have food to bring to work, so I often do a bunch of cooking on Sundays. I mostly eat vegetarian, with some chicken once in a while. I love food!

  Non-smokers only please! I do not drink alcohol or smoke anything or do any drugs so it works best for me if you are the same. No pets due to allergies.
  
  The bus stops right by my house, the fare is $2.50, you can go pretty much anywhere in the city on the bus. Sometimes you will need to transfer, your ticket will include transfers. The grocery store is a 15-min walk from my house. I live in a residential neighbourhood next door to a church.

  I was a digital nomad myself between 2014 and 2020. The internet in my home is pretty good, but not excellent. I won't be at home during the day so you will have the internet all to yourself.

  I have a driveway that can accommodate 3 cars. It's not particularly wide, but it would work for a small camper.
