Description
Our Farm is a 97 acre therapeutic farm on beautiful Vancouver Island, BC! We are part of a residential community, where adults with developmental disabilities live, work and learn together with their caregivers. We grow a broad range of vegetables for our own use and an extensive range of herbs, for cooking and products to sell. We have cattle, sheep, chickens, and a few pigs.

Winter is more quiet on the land and the chores slows down. We turn to maintenance and construction during that time. Handy helpers are welcome!

The lodgings include:
-6x8 ' cabin, shared bathroom and kitchen.
- a slightly larger loft- shared bathroom and kitchen in one of the licensed houses,
-a bedroom in one of the licensed care houses, or
-tents, camper van pads if you have your own camper/trailer.

Within walking distance (1km) is a swimming lake (Keating Lake), hiking trails, a trailhead to the Trans Canada trail for endless walking/biking, and a corner store and cafe. In 6km you’ll be in downtown Duncan. All around Duncan are river swimming holes, beaches, trails,wineries, micro breweries, and striking natural beauty. We're 65 Km from Victoria to the south, and 57 km to Nanaimo in the North.
