  Description

  Blackcurrant and blueberry farm in Eastern Township, Québec.
  
  Many variable task to do, we need more persons to pick up the fruits from middle july to middle august, cut the grass with a tractor, planting some new plants, driving tractor, costumer service (in french and english), etc.
  
  We pay 15.25$ an hour for every hour worked by every Workawayer. You can expect to do between 20 and 40 hours a week.
  People will have to pay for their own food.
  
  There is at least one person already on the farm that talk:
  
  Français, Español , Italiano, English.
  
  People that will work with us will stay and sleep in our house that has 2 nice rooms.
  
  We can, during free times, make the workawayers a visit of the region and show them where its nice to go in the area.
  
  There is oftenly big supper with friends outside the house during summer. These are the best moments. We like to socialize.
  
  There is a lot of lake all around, water falls, rivers, Hiking places. Some bars etc.

  Important update
  
  Quebec is a officialy a french province.
  The presentation is done in english to be understood by the most people as possible and we have no problem to communicate that way at home. Even in Spanish 👍
  
  But we, as in many other countries, appreciate when people do an effort to learn our language. Even just a little (Please, just « hello comment ça va » after 1 month of cohabitation is not enough.
  
  That said, we absolutely love to learn about other cultures.
  
  
  Thanks to workaway, I learned a little bit of german and my spanish is a lot better than before ✌️ I would appreciate to share too this time!
