  Description

  My name is Graciela, I am the hostess and legal administrator of my daughter Sofía's Manen eco-house. I have been living in Tunuyán for a few years and I live in this great ecological house with history... Since it is part of one of the first projects of ecological construction (large scale) in the area, carried out by the architect Adriana Saua. I try to lead a simple and sustainable life surrounded by my best companions, domestic and farm animals. The place where I live is beautiful and surrounded by nature (trees, mountains, ditches). I am a fervent defender of pure water and I fight in assemblies for that to be respected. Also in this place you will learn the healing power of plants. I am looking for dynamic and motivated people who like to do and learn many different things. People who want to participate in good projects and activities, but who also want to share their experiences and skills. I prefer volunteers who have knowledge in handling tools. At this moment I am needing help with the general maintenance of the house, the ecological maintenance of the farm and the Eco-cabin for rent for tourists. There are always things to do you won't get bored. Preferably older than 30 years. I am located in Tunuyán, a quiet neighborhood 3 km from the center of Tunuyán and 60 km from Mendoza. There are many things to do in the surroundings: wineries (Tupungato, San Carlos, etc.), mountains (40 km historic Manzano), rivers, lagoons, horseback riding, trekking, hiking... From Mendoza there are many charming places: Cacheuta, Potrerillos, downtown Mendoza, Aconcagua, Uspallata…
  
  Mi nombre es Graciela soy la anfitriona y administradora legal de la eco casa Manen de mi hija Sofía, estoy viviendo hace algunos años en Tunuyán y vivo en esta gran casa ecológica con historia... Ya que es parte de uno de los primeros proyectos de construcción ecológica (a gran escala) en la zona, realizados por la arquitecta Adriana Saua.
  
  Trato de llevar una vida simple y sostenible rodeada de mis mejores compañías los animales domésticos y de granja.
  
  El lugar donde vivo es hermoso y rodeado de naturaleza (Árboles, montañas, acequias). Soy una ferviente defensora del agua pura y lucho en las asembleas para que eso se respete.
  También en este lugar aprenderás el poder curativo de las plantas.
  
  Busco personas dinamicas y motivadas a las que les guste hacer y aprender muchas cosas diferentes. Personas que quieran participar en buenos proyectos y actividades, pero que también quieran compartir sus experiencias y habilidades.
  
  Prefiero voluntarios que tengan conocimiento en el manejo de herramientas.
  
  En este momento estoy necesitando ayuda con el mantenimiento en general de la casa, el mantenimiento ecológico de la finca y la Eco-cabaña en alquiler para turistas.
  
  Siempre hay cosas para hacer no te aburrirás.
  
  Preferentemente mayores de 30 años.
  
  Estoy ubicada en Tunuyán, un barrio tranquilo a 3 km del centro de Tunuyán y a 60 km de Mendoza.
  
  Hay muchas cosas para hacer en los alrededores : bodegas de vino (Tupungato, San Carlos, etc), montañas (Manzano histórico 40 km), ríos, lagunas, cabalgatas, trekking, caminatas…
  Desde Mendoza hay muchos lugares encantadores : Cacheuta, Potrerillos, centro de Mendoza, Aconcagua, Uspallata…

  Aide

  The work of the volunteers is 5 days a week, 4/5 hours a day. Schedules can be arranged according to the season and needs. In spring and summer, the best time to work is early in the morning, due to the heat. The works in general are: garden maintenance (cutting the grass), watering fruit trees, pruning trees, harvesting fruits and vegetables, making preserves, general maintenance of an eco-cabin for tourists, maintenance of the organic garden , chicken coop manufacturing, carpentry work, greenhouse construction, cleaning and maintenance of the house. We can accommodate two volunteers maximum.
  
  El trabajo de los voluntarios es 5 días a la semana, 4/5 horas al día. Los horarios se pueden arreglar según la temporada y las necesidades. En primavera y verano, el mejor momento para trabajar es temprano en la mañana, por el calor.
  Los trabajos en general son : mantenimiento del jardín (cortar el pasto), riego de arboles frutales, poda de árboles, recolección de frutas y verduras, elaboración de conservas, mantenimiento en general de una eco-cabaña destinada a turistas, mantenimiento del Huerto orgánico, fabricación gallinero, trabajos de carpintería, construcción de invernaderos, limpieza y mantenimiento de la casa.
  Podemos albergar dos voluntarios como máximo.

  Volunteers have a private room with a shared dry toilet and shower, the space for cooking is shared (stove and fridge) we only ask that volunteers keep their room clean and in order. There is solar electricity so consumption must be moderate. Showers must be during the day since we have solar heating. There is Wi-Fi, but it is not of the best quality since in the countryside there are sometimes difficulties for the signal to reach. I offer two meals a day, breakfast and lunch. The rest (dinner, alcohol, snack...) are the responsibility of the volunteers. The dishes provided are homemade and varied. I try to consume organic and local products. I request the participation of everyone in the preparation of each meal and in the cleaning of common areas.
  
  Los voluntarios tienen habitación privada con un baño seco y ducha compartida, el espacio para cocinar es compartido (cocina y heladera) solo pedimos que los voluntarios mantengan su habitación limpia y en orden. Hay electricidad solar por eso el consumo debe ser moderado. Las duchas deben ser durante el día ya que tenemos calefón solar.
  Hay wifi, pero no es de la mejor calidad ya que en el campo a veces hay dificultades para que llegue la señal.
  
  Ofrezco dos comidas al día, desayuno y almuerzo.
  Lo demás (cena, alcohol, merienda…) son responsabilidad de los voluntarios. Los platos proporcionados son caseros y variados. Trato de consumir productos orgánicos y locales.
  Solicito la participación de todos en la preparación de cada comida y en el aseo de zonas comunes.
