Hi out there!
We are Tanja [30] (a former workawayer), Jonas [35] (passionated traveller and outdoor-person) and Eva [3]
We are renovating an old house with a large garden step by step, turning it into a special place. We love simple living, self-sufficiency, shared meals, and a daily life with a touch of minimalism and alternative thinking – relaxed, creative, and close to nature.
For the summer, we are looking for support with gardening, cooking, and also renovation projects in the new part of the house. What matters most to us is motivation, initiative, and a sense of community during your stay.
If you would enjoy 7–10 days of fresh air, hands-on projects, and a welcoming family home away from home, we would love to get to know you.

Of course we will provide food for you, mostly vegetarian or vegan, but also with meat if you're up to. We can take you to dumpster diving trips and can show you around the corner. We will integrate you as good as possible and see you as part of our family. That includes doing bon fire evenings, taking you to trips, meeting friends, ... the whole stuff that normaly every workawayer likes... Jonas and me are still young to be part of the adventure itself! ;)

Aide
The projects can be choosen freely, we are happy for every input. Mainly it will be some building stuff inside the house, but especially in summer we will fix the garden. We try to built mostly with materials that are ecological or reuse old stuff.
Currently projects (June 2026): renovating some beams in the attic, designing the interieur of the tiny-tiny house, little building and art projects around the garden...

We have a separate room for workawayers to use it. By now we have no bed, but two matrasses on the floor.

Our stay at Tanja's place was short but very nice! We helped with the cooking and several tasks here and there in the house. They were very helpful and understanding as we were looking for a host at the last minute because the previous contacted ones were not replying, without them we would have had quite a lot of trouble! The two are very polite, and communication was uncomplicated at all times. They cooked delicious food and helped us with different tasks on our property. Aurelion also took care of our bike maintenance, which we gratefully accepted! Thanks that you were here!

Laura is a very open minded person. The communication went smoothly and she was very respectful. She helped us in the garden and with some cooking and buying groceries. She had to leave some days earlier than she had planned, because of private reasons. Whish you all the best for your „future with the books“ ;)

Jelka, Franz and Froda were the first family we were able to welcome.
The children and adults got along great! In our „Attic project“ Franz and Jelka gave us plenty of support.
Jelka also demonstrated her sensitivity by renovating an old cabinet and sorting the workshop with Tanja.

I came to Tanja and Jonas during a busy time on my "home-Workaway" on a horse farm, so it was an obvious contrast and exactly what I needed. Mira is not just a heart-warming personality, but also a real artist! She used her expertise in interior design and painted one of our walls with a beautiful leaf pattern. Beside that she helped us with a dirty and heavy work removing a stone wall in the attic. As an independent woman it was a pleasure for us to have her around for 2 weeks.

We shared so many nice meals and evenings with Salomé and Maxime! In their 2,5 weeks stay they cooked, took care of Eva, worked outside in the cold and inside in the dirt ;). Both of them were really tidy and thoughtful. It was a pleasure having them around and visiting christmas markets ect. ;)

It was enriching having Annika for some days around. She really nows a lot about different topics and is interested to learn new things. She did the tasks we asked her to do independently and was over all very polite!
