Description
We are a small earth building project in rural Georgia, creating an earthen home for our family and a shared community space using natural materials and traditional building techniques.
Our project focuses on hands-on learning in:
earth building
natural plasters
adobe and cob techniques
earthen floors and walls
natural insulation
gardening and permaculture
Volunteers participate in every stage of the building process — from preparing materials and mixing earth plasters to testing techniques and helping shape real structures. We believe natural building is one of the most meaningful ways to reconnect with nature, community, and slower ways of living.
Alongside construction, we live collectively and share many aspects of daily life together: cooking, gardening, maintaining the land, workshops, discussions, music evenings, and community activities.
We follow a simple plant-based lifestyle focused on seasonal food, sustainability, and conscious living. Our land is surrounded by forests, hills, historical sites, and hiking trails, only a short distance from Tbilisi and Mtskheta.
This experience is ideal for people interested in:
earth building
ecological architecture
sustainable construction
permaculture
intentional communities
low-impact living
learning practical natural building skills
vegan lifestyle
No previous experience is required — only motivation, openness, and willingness to participate actively in community life and physical work. -

Echange culturel et opportunités d'apprendre
Cultural exchange at our project happens naturally through shared daily life, teamwork, and living together on the land.
Volunteers experience rural Georgian life while working closely with our family, local builders, and an international group of people. We often share meals, music, conversations around the fire, and visits from local friends and community members.
Participants can learn practical skills in earth building, natural plasters, sustainable construction, gardening, permaculture, and simple community living. Everything is learned through hands-on experience and collaboration.
At the same time, we love learning from the people who join us — their cultures, ideas, skills, and ways of living. For us, this project is about meaningful human connection, mutual learning, and creating a supportive international community together. -
Aide
The main focus of our project is earth building and natural construction. Volunteers help with hands-on tasks such as preparing clay, sand, and straw mixtures, making and applying cob and natural plasters, building earthen walls, and assisting with small construction projects. No previous experience is needed — we learn together through practice.
Depending on the season, volunteers may also help in the garden and orchard with planting, harvesting, composting, mulching, and general land care.
Community life is an important part of the experience, so everyone also participates in daily shared tasks like cooking, cleaning, organizing tools, and maintaining the space together.
We especially welcome people interested in natural building, sustainability, permaculture, simple living, and learning practical skills through direct experience. -

Hébergement
Accommodation is camping-based on our land, surrounded by nature in a quiet rural setting. We can provide tents if needed, but we recommend bringing your own camping equipment for extra comfort.
Volunteers live close to the project space and share simple outdoor facilities, including outhouse and an outdoor shower.
Food is included. We cook and eat together using seasonal, plant-based ingredients, many from local village markets.
This experience is best suited for people who enjoy nature, simple living, and being part of a shared community environment. -
