We would definetley recommend spending a chunk of your time with these amazing people at their beautiful permaculture.
Michael picket us up from the ferry and provided us with delicious homemade bread and jokes, we were invited for dinner the next day, Nina shared so much from what she has learned with us and the kids are so incredibly fun and

We got to do loads of different tasks, eg. building, painting, planting, weeding and a little babysitting :) And they tried to accomodate our individual interests!
Since we were there during the winter, we had the luxury of staying in one of the amazing apartments, they honestly are worth the hype! But if somebody else is thinking about going to Bornholm during the winter, you should consider that it is very quite, and there are few things to do. Just so you know. So if you love being in nature and seeing the ocean every day and doing hard but nice work, then this is absolutley a place for you! Plus, Nina even drove us to Hammerhus so we could hike and we got taken along on many of their family activities which was amazing! (Movies, looking at sheep, pizza night)
We had a great time and really hope we can come visit again one day.Vous pouvez seulement contacter les workawayers avec une adhésion active.

Altough I only spent two very short days with Nina, Michael and their kids, I had a truly wonderful time. They are warm and welcoming, asked me what of the tasks at hand I would like most to do and learn about and very much included me in the process of decision making. We argued about the best way to position wind breakers and in my opinion ended

This gave me the feeling of not only being a helping hand but also that my opinion was appreciated as any ideas I had to offer where being included in the discussion and partly implemented. Nina is especially knowledgeable in the vatious aspects of permaculture and gave me many new insights and ideas, including indicating some really good books to read. I loved working alongside her all day.
Michael is also a wonderfull person and his homebaked bread was simply delicious, as where all other meals that consisted mostly of vegetable from the garden.
I can really only recommend them and staying with them to anyone.

We have spent 5 weeks at the amazing farm of Michael,Nina,Elena and Luca. Already after two weeks it felt like a second home! The first moment we arrived they arranged to sit together at 12:00, getting to know each other and talking a bit about new projects. What do we like to learn, to teach or to experience the coming weeks.

Oh and besides this all, the houses we stayed in were amazing. We are greatfull for meeting them.

We had a beautiful 2 weeks at Michael and Nina's home. Nina was happy to share her knowledge of permaculture and her love for gardening and the beautiful island of Bornholm. Tom stayed at our farm for 5 weeks and it was really a pleasure to have him around helping us.
He is a hard working guy, very smart, bringing own ideas in with a very kind and lovely character. He helped us building a new stone floor what was very tricky and exhausting. He although helped in our permaculture garden and seeded vegetables and

I stayed for 5 weeks with Michael, Nina and their lovely kids, and had easily one of the best times of my life! I felt like home very quickly and this has been my favorite workaway stay so far. It’s a nice place to be, we had a lot of good conversations, the work didnt really feel like work and we always had great food!
I really enjoyed working in

I got to learn how to use some tools, learned more about gardening and Nina also shared her permaculture knowledge, which was very interesting. You have the opportunity to explore the island, the local beach is not even a 10min. walk and you can see how it is to move to Bornholm and own a farm.
We always had a good communication about the work, the food etc…
I already miss them a lot, especially the kids:))
All in all, a really great place to be, with even nicer people!!
Can’t wait to get back soon :)
Tak for everything, vi sis!
