Description

I am generally a very happy person, who enjoys being around others, spending time outside and experiencing life in the moment.
My interests range from hiking and rock climbing to baking, crafting and reading; a mix that probably already tells you that my personality is somewhere in the middle of bubbly and calm.
I am a student at university, getting my Bachelors degree in Geography. It feels like the subject I was meant to study: I want to understand local and global systems, am curious about cultures and landscapes, and want to do my part in creating a better future on this world.

German and English are both my first languages so I would be able to teach someone else the basics. I would really like to improve my Swedish-skills but learning a different language also interests me greatly.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Cooking: I taught myself how to cook and those skills were put to the test when I prepared food for 30 people on a ships last summer. Because of this I feel confident in being responsible for peoples meals.

Housekeeping: My dad introduced me to general maintanance-stuff around the house so of course I clean, tidy up, do laundry and can paint walls and furniture.

Work experience (Youth counsellor and babysitter): I have experience in working with people, both my age, older and younger, because my first job was taking care of the younger children at my school during the afternoon. I am responsible, flexible and work well both in a team and alone. I spent last summer as a youth counsellor at a holiday camp and I took part in the student counsel. Now, next to University, I work as a babysitter with a lovely family.

Gardening: An internship at a nature conservation organisation introduced me to the basics of maintaining a diverse and healthy garden and then I spent six weeks with Workaway on a permaculture farm.

Languages: I speak German and English fluently and could teach someone who is intererested these languages. My Swedish skills are very basic but I am working on it.

Pets: I grew up with a perfect little dog, and a lot of my friends also have dogs, so I have experience in taking care of them.
