  Description

  My name is Orlando (Roland) born in Switzerland. For years I have lived as free spirit in my house on the edge of the nature reserve of Filicudi, a 9,5 km square island. As a songpoet and writer in 2 mountain caves and a large house complex surrounded by a magic panorama. As a spiritual person plants are my partners. Especially trees i planted from seeds from all over the world on "The Island Beyond the Moon". I try to act in harmony with Mother Earth. Fort thus i maintain a simple, sustainable lifestyle. Practice daily Yoga. And create books, records and apps for kids (abcdino.swiss)
  I do need support to maintain the private 2000m2 botanical home garden, to rebuilt some stone terraces that surround our house in Filicudi which is part of the UNESCO heritage. If you are a good cook that is appreciated much too. As a workawayer you will be lodged in a dwelling cave or if vacant at my separate guest house.( It is organized by another person from the island).
  You will learn much about botanics especially trees, about Mediterranean cuisine. And you may help me in exchange to enrich my kitchen with ideas and good cooking skills which you bring along. And you may enter my friends group of artists living here.
  Anyone who loves sleeping under twinkling stars, who thinks rainwater with fresh lemon is the finest drink in the world, is welcome on Montepalmieri in the realm of profound silence! Here you may learn a lot about Romans, Greek, Arabs and and their cultures which influenced this place in cuisine, music and gardening.
  Besides all that: enjoy a detox time from all digital time thieves. Let's support each other in activities as exchanging philosophies, singing, music, massage (Esalen), sculptures in wood. By the way we learn other languages in our daily exchange.
  
  Mein Name ist Orlando (Roland) geboren in der Schweiz. Vor vielen Jahren folgte ich meinem Herzen, als Autor und Singer Songwriter nach Filicudi und baute "Auf der Insel hinterm Mond" mein Haus am Rand des Naturschutzgebiets. Hier komponiere ich in 2 Berghöhlen und div. Räumen umgeben von einem phänomenalen Panorama.
  Schon als junger Mann pflanzte ich Bäume aus Samen-Souvenirs von vielen Reisen. Pflege heute als spiritueller Mensch in Harmonie mit Mutter Erde meinen botanischen Garten. Mache täglich Yoga und Naturmeditationen.
  An diesem Kraftort schreibe ich Apps und Bücher für Kinder. (abcdino.swiss).
  
  Unterstützung brauche ich um den privaten 2000m2 Garten zu pflegen und einige der uralten Trockenmauern von Filicudi eines UNESCO Weltkulturerbes zu restaurieren. Ein/e gute Koch/Köchin wäre mir lieb, wobei wir unsere Rezepte austauschen. Du schläfst in einer ausgebauten Wohngrotte oder im separaten Gästehaus, wenn es während deiner Anwesenheit nicht vermietet ist. Und du wirst unsere Gruppe von lokalen KünstlerInnen kennenlernen.
  Wer das Schlafen unterm Sternenhimmel liebt, wer Regenwasser mit frischer Zitrone das feinste Getränk der Welt findet, der/die ist auf Montepalmieri am richtigen Ort, und spätestens nach zwei Wochen ganz bei sich angekommen. Dazu lernst du hier viel über antike Kulturen der Römer, Griechen, Araber und all der Völker die im Lauf der Jahrtausende gekommen und gegangen.
  Geniesse eine Detox-Auszeit von den digitalen Zeiträubern und tue dir und der geschützten Natur in tiefer Stille Gutes. Ideale Tätigkeiten bei denen wir uns gegenseitig unterstützen, sind Philosophieren, Malen, Musizieren, Massagen (Esalen) oder Sprachen pflegen im täglichen Austausch.

  The magic island Filicudi is like "good old" Italy was in the 60ies. Friendly easy going people (200 inhabitants) Italien cuisine, music, snorkeling, plants, rare birds, hiking in the wilderness on ancient mule trails. In July/August visitors from all over the world drop in. You can breath deeply and find to yourself. No stress no time exists on this tiny island, where Mother nature reigns. I may teach you for free guitar, Yoga or meditation techniques. Languages: German, French, Italian, English, plus some Spanish.

  I need someone to help with gardening, cooking, and shopping. This doesn't affect work or renting out the guesthouse. Occasionally, I need someone to look after my house during the height of summer (when I'm on tour).
  
  Ich brauche jemand, der bei der Gartenarbeit hilft, in der Küche und beim Einkauf. Die Arbeit oder das Vermieten des Gästehauses ist davon nicht betroffen. Gelegentlich brauche ich über den Hochsommer (wenn ich on Tour bin ) eine Person, als Haushüter/in.

  You live very remote here, but the island offers you a luxury that is rare today: Silence, Spirituality, hospitality, pure air, music, safety, clear water and a magical landscape. 9,5 km square You may hike for 5 hours on the abandoned northern side on wild mule trails. Or climb to a 4000 years old Neolithic altar. From the house on 300m altutide touching the natural reserve you walk 35 minutes to the beach, 20 minutes to the Pizzeria, Disco and "Uncle of America" selling food once a week. It is a place for good walkers.
  For heavy transports you may hire a taxi on the only two roads. You can join the diving club, or snorkel at your own. And local "Conservation Wildlife" in the pittoresque harbour of Percorini is a station that cares for tortues and dolphins. In summertime (July/August) there are massage, yoga offers. And spontaneous singing and music in Pecorini Saloon or at my home
