  Description

  We are new to Workaway so have only two reviews. We run a rental, host couchsurfers, wine makers/harvest workers annually, unofficial Workaways and woofers with huge success though, 99.5% become friends!.
  
  We are a family of 6 plus two extremely friendly dogs (spoodle 8 and miniature schnauzer 3 both non shedding, hypoallergenic) who love the NZ life. We moved here from the UK 9 years ago and have never looked back.
  
  We love to host in our home in Blenheim and we have some land out in the country that we are rebuilding a cabin on and will be building our forever home on soon. The land is only 20 mins outside of Blenheim in a stunningly beautiful, peaceful, green valley. It feels a million miles away from the town!
  
  We would love help with either the gardens, sanding and painting here at home, or at the land we have heaps of plants to plant, paths to make, grass to mow, pine trees to thin out, gorse to eradicate, woodshed to make, kindling to chop, cabin to paint, window trim, panel and ceiling trim, deck to refit....the list goes on and on....and if none of that is your thing then maybe you love cooking an evening meal, baking or dog walking, that would be totally amazing!

  We are an inclusive, warm household. We regularly host winemakers during harvest season and they return year on year and have become friends.
  
  Our home is best when it is full of people. Now that 3 of our children have flown the nest (just one at home now) it sometimes gets a little quiet around here. We are a family home not a party house but we enjoy meals together and inviting friends over. We enjoy life. We work hard and love to share what we have achieved with others.

  Marlborough is pretty diverse culturally and there will be others from your home cultures living here that you can connect with. Blenheim is a small town that has everything you can need.

  We have a beautiful, comfortable room for you.
  
  Whilst you are with us - our home is your home. There is a great family kitchen dining room with wood fire, TV room, laundry and gardens. All bedding and towels are provided.
  Food will be provided in the form of either grocery vouchers if you want to cook for yourself or shared meals also.

  On your down time there is plenty to do around Blenheim and further but a car may be needed as public transport can be sketchy. We are so close to the ferry to Wellington or the domestic airport which flies to various places. We can potentially help with transport also.

  Teddy

  Teddy is a miniature schnauzer snuggle bug. She is non shedding and low maintenance as long as she is constantly being cuddled! Teddy is fun, not too smart and totally gorgeous.

  

  Meggy

  Meggy is a gentle girl, a spoodle who has endless energy and loves everyone. She is non shedding and can sniff out a chocolate stash at 30m!
